It has a nice ring, Janice! Nook just doesn't work that way. And paperbacks don't have motors. Heehee

Got it, Janice. And how about "And they're off....."
I've read half of my Croatia pick, and finished another book. I'm waiting until the grocery store is open to finish. :P

Speaking of the Kindle, does anyone know of any good books from other countries that are free to download?

As far as I know, it's not possible to download Project G to kindle. Some of the older classics, are free at Amazon.
Can you download them as a PDF?
I just looked up Project Gutenberg. Things have changed. They now say it's possible to download to kindle:http://www.gutenberg.org/

Nope but Kindle is a very open format.
Kindles proprietary format is .azw, but it can also read .txt files, .MOBI files, and .pdf files. From Gutenberg, you can download books in mobi format.
