Bettina | 8 comments hi,
some month ago i read a descreption of a book on amazon or anything like that. it was about a man -the hero- who gets injured, but i don´t remember how, and his brother cannot take him to his house because the aren´t on the same side in the war. So he takes the hero to somebody else -the heroine- who is -knowingly or not- going to tent to his wounds. unfortunately i don´t remember anything else of this book, if you know any book slightly similar to my descreiption please let me know.
sorry for my bad englisch but i am german and i prefer to read englisch to improve my skills;-)

Ariana | 53 comments Hello Bettina, I've been looking, but if you could give any more information (what war, genre, roughly when it was published), I'm more likely to find something.

Bettina | 8 comments hi,
i am really glad somebody is helping, unfortunately i really do not remember that much of the book, but i think it is not one of the newest printed books, but not too old (perhaps around 1980-2000 ???)
i don´t know which war it was, napoleon, crimean or pensinula or something like that. the most accurate thing i remember was the thing between the brother, they aren´t on the same side and and he can´t tend to the wounds of his injured brother because of it...

Darcy (drokka) | 211 comments There is Look Away by Harold Coyle. It's about the American Civil War, and was published in the 1990's.

Ariana | 53 comments Well, here's what I've found:
Two Brothers - One North, One South, Look Away,
A Ballad of the Civil War (this one is YA),
Brothers (most likely so far),
The Shadow Riders
Fields of Fury: The American Civil War

Honestly, I haven't found anything that really sounds like it might be it, but these are some possibilities. (Most of these are American Civil War because of the catch phrase 'Brother fighting Brother' that the American Civil War gained)

And One Wore Gray by Heather Graham?

One Goodreads reviewer says, "Confederate Colonel Daniel Cameron is injured and dying on a farm owned by the Macauley's. Callie Michaelson is the only soul there, her husband, Gregory, has been killed in Tennesse and her father was killed... At first she is frightened that the Reb may do her harm, but when he collapses yet again, she nurses him back to health, saving his life and even hiding him from Yankee troops..." This is part of a series and Daniel's brother fights on the opposite side.
