Erudite Readers discussion

One of our Monthly Reads this month :) It was chosen by you guys.. I start reading it and I noticed alot of similarities to The Lightning Thief .. Did you think so? Let the discussions begin!

I can't wait to read this book! I'm going to read right after I finish two other books.

I've read it and the second, one of my favorite series because Sophie is a female lead I actually like.

I just read the first one and it was ok, not one of my favourites, but it was very funny, laughed all through the book :D I found the Hex Hall kinda, like a tinsy bit similar to Hogwarts ???

Yeah Sophie is a good female lead I have to say that. But she was a bit to umm fragile??? But her lead in book was really good, made the whole book interesting, just not strong.

ive seen this book so many times at the bookstore, library ect. but its never really caught my interest...

I've read the first book and have to start the others. Not my favorite book but good enough. It was fun to read.

Not every book is going to be amaizng ( I wish!) but was it entertaining at least?

It was fun I agree with Aproova, and it was entertaining .. but it's not the best.. (nothing's original anymore)

I really liked this book, I read it a while ago and I remember liking it enough to read the second book

Yup but the whole genre of Vampires is popular because of the Modern Vamps created in

I am enjoying the book I have not quite finnished it. The book reminds me of the series

I couldn't believe that Archer was the Eye! What the heck? I couldn't even see that coming! As for Elodie, I kind of felt sorry for her but it didn't last long. I don't know if I am willing to read Demon Glass yet.

I Know. Even though this book is good you don't feel so compelled to read the second one..

plus, haven't you heard that thing about the authors that ganged up on that reviewer? all becasue she posted a bad review on Rachael's book. WHta the heck? u wrote horrible and someone just pointed it out. so i dont know if i want to read her books anymore

I loved the books. Yeah some books do have similarities, but I haven't read any that were soooo similar that it was ridiculous. I wasn't expecting the ending at all!! That was one aspect that really threw me along with the Archer being apart of the Eye. I read the second book and loved it as well. It had me guessing the entire time! Also, I haven't heard about the review or the gang up. I'd really like to read it becuase that's kind of hard to believe. The only thing that I could imagine happened was the review was offensive and rude. Anyway unless Rachel ganged up on the reviewer herself that wouldn't stop me from reading her books. Heck even if she did I'd most likely keep reading her books. The book is the only thing that matters really. *Does this count as a review?*

Wow! Can't believe that actually happened! She was never my fav author but she ranks even lower now.

hahaha I kinda knew it was so obvious! I knew when I found out that he went to london for however many days or manths he went. But I know what you mean by the second book. I don't want to read it either but I want to see how it all turns out, it's better to know than wonder...that is infuriating!

I think it's worth finding out. It's a lot of surprises in the second book. I'm the same wat about Matched I want to finish but I can't make myself do it for some reason....

that's been on my to-read list for a while!

I'm such an awful reader this is the second time I've stopped reading a book and didn't finish!! The first time was on the 5th House of Night book. Still don't know what happened......

I'm on page 108 and it's pretty good(not amazing but still good!) I love the little jokes in the book and how i feel as though i'm actually at hex hall with sophia

Hecate Hall has a ring to it :) This is a good book

i just read the second book! At first,it wasn't sp interesting but the end makes me want to read the third book right now!!
