I really liked the series. It was different and had so many elements I loved. I am really looking forward to the final book's release.

Okay then I guess I was the only one hating. So I'm gonna elaborate: It's not that I hated the story in itself, but the writing and the characters did suck.It had potential, but it went ruined.

Me too!!!!!! I am so hoping for a HEA!!!!!
I liked the book. It was cute and definitely different. I loved all paranormal books, however lately all the books have either been about angels/demons, vampires or werewolves. So writing about an actual star was great. It changed things up, and was a cute romance story. I have not read the last book so I am wondering how it actually ends. I cant wait.
I just finished the last two books and omg, I love this book. I cannot wait for The Promise to be released!
Really enjoyed this book, like Erin said it was great to see somebody coming up with a new idea. Have enjoyed the rest of the series and am eagerly awaiting the final one :)

Alexa wrote: "REALLY??????"Yupp it's called the fallen soul, you can learn more about it on Jessica Sorosen's fb page
Elena wrote: "Absolutely not! It personally was one of my worst reads of 2011."totally agree. was very disappointed with it
I found it very interesting. It was enough to get me hooked on the series and I think the books that followed went very well and also got me started on the Lost Soul Series! It was a fun read filled with much excitement :D
I was also disappoined by it. The story and theme were interesting, and to be honest, I kind of want to know what happens next... but I really couldn't stand the characters. >.>
I really like this book and this whole series, for that matter. It was a read that i definitely enjoyed, though it was one of those that i can't exactly explain why i liked it so much. I just did. I don't think there was a charactr that i DIDN'T like, except, you know, the evil characters. It was a different concept, and i liked the different relationships Gemma had with Alex, Laylen, etc. I would recommend it to anyone. :)
I didn't not like it. (Double negative anyone?) It was good enough that I read the first four books in the series in the span of a weekend. That being said I won't rush out and buy the next book when it comes out (or if it's out, I haven't bought it and probably won't buy it anytime soon), because book 4 ended enough of the story for me that I can let it go. I don't care enough, anymore, to keep going now that I know how book 4 ended.I think I gave it a qualified 3.5 stars.
I enjoyed it. I thought it was going to be more of the same at the beginning, but then it surprised me. I haven't read the next one yet, but it is on my TBR list. I'm more looking forward to her new one, though--The Secret of Ella and Micha.
My second favorite series, ever!!! *so far...* Absolutely loved it, I'm glad I continued reading after the beginning, because it did start really slow (and well, it was the first book I attempted to read in like 7 years, so I definitely was NOT a big reader...now I've been reading ever since this series...Thanks, Jessica!). It surely did pick up fairly quick, though, and just continued to get better with each book. I stayed up much too late, or early, on a few occasions just because I simply needed more.... loooove this series!!!
omg i hated it but i loved it at the same time you know because it was amazing but it stunk so badly because at first it was like whoaaaaah amazing then it was like omg suckish then it was like whoaaaahhhhh omg it was like amazing but then it was the worst book i ever read but it was also amazing and also was bad like you know idk
I just finished the first book and starting the second. I enjoyed it but had some issues with the characters and being over all confused about why things were the way they were. I liked that the book is different from any books I've read so far (a fallen piece of a stars energy inside someone.. whaaaaaat?). Hopefully the second book will clear up my questions.
I was not very impressed with this book till about half way through it then there was no turning back and read the rest of the series plus the first book in the Lost Souls series in 3 days ...Now I'm finished and miss the characters like crazy....Can't wait till the next Lost Souls book come out so I can keep reading about them.
I did not like this book. I agree with Dee Dee. I felt that it was hard to connect with the characters.
