Again, I have a huge list (and never enough money to support my reading habit, ah well). Just to pick two for this month...
.
"Love paranormal romance!" -- Me, too. I'm re-reading Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs at the moment. A bit bizarre maybe that werewolves can be a comfort read :) but I'm really looking forward to the release of the next in that series, Fair Game.
Well...all of the HBM PNR and fantasy releases because you guys are great and then:
I also just bought The Last Slayer and I'm looking forward to getting started on that one.

Hee hee, thank you! *HUG*
I'm such an impulsive reader, I don't have a clue what's coming out this year. At some point I wouldn't mind catching up on the 'Ghost and the Goth' series by Stacey Kade, and books 1-9 of Kerrelyn Spark's 'Love at stake' series (I started with book 10, which was FAB!).

I'm looking at your books and thinking, yup, absolutely want to read Priestess of the Nile, have since I first saw the cover. Patricia Briggs is always on my TBR list. But I'm drawing a blank as to a firm TBR list, probably because I don't currently have the money to support my habit. ; )
Thank heaven for libraries! and librarians, who smile approvingly at huge stacks of books. Always nice to feel our reading addiction is understood and shared :)
Oh, hey. For those of you who are looking forward to Fair Game, she posted the first chapter on her site: http://t.co/THEB6HiC (With a whole bunch of Bran who is my second favorite character in Mercy's world after Samuel:)
Oh Bran is wonderful! Now I don't know what to do. Torture myself with the first chapter, or wait...
I don't read a lot of YA, but this is one I'm really looking forward to.
I was lucky enough to beta a short story by the author and, wow. She's one of those special minds that I don't fully understand but really enjoy reading.

@Jenny, @Eleri, I luv Bran too! It's odd, though, the Alpha and Omega series hasn't drawn me in the way Mercy's series does. Stranger still, Charles is totally my type. =heh=
I'm looking forward to new editions to the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning (I'm addicted), Archangel's Storm by Nalini Singh (Jason = schwing), and The Wolf Gift by Anne Rice (if she does for werewolves what she did for vampires it'll be a game changer). Oh, and also Oracle's Moon by Thea Harrison (I swear we have the same inspirations, so it's extra fun to see where her stories go).

Shirin, I love Charles ... *sigh* When I read On the Prowl, I was hooked. On the other hand, I just can't get into Nalini Singh's Archangel world. Not sure why, but it doesn't work for me ... whereas her Psy-Changeling series ... oooh yeah :)
Jenny, It's funny how two readers with similar tastes (like us) can be drawn to different series by the same author. Have you read the Fever Series? Jericho Barrons is one of my top 5 heroes of all time.
I find the more I LOVE a series, the more likely I am to have that problem. I like AO and Mercy pretty equally, possibly because they're set in the same world. For me, it's Lois McMaster Bujold. LOVED the Chalion series. Have trouble sinking into the Sharing Knife books. I like them and she's such an amazing author but it's not the same.
Shirin, you're killing my book budget! I haven't read the Fever series, but now, how can I resist?Eleri, I started reading Bujold last year, no, maybe 2010, and I think she's good, but I haven't become a compulsive re-reader of her Miles' stories. Maybe I tried reading them too close together and over-dosed? Self restraint and reading just don't go together for me ;)
Eleri, and Jenny, I haven't read Bujold yet. I'll give the Chalion series a try.
Jenny, it's not just me. Eleri loves the Fever series too. We've been chatting about it on twitter.

I've only read one of her science fiction books but Curse of Chalion is one of my favorite fantasy books ever. Oh, hey! Adding to my anticipated 2012 reads is the sequel to Angelfall..summer 2012. (Angelfall is only .99. It's YA but doesn't read like one.)
I pre-ordered Discount Armageddon a while back & just got a note from the Book Depo that they're popping it in the mail! (it was cheaper in paper than digital -- just call be "Book Scrooge"). And then I read an interview with the author, Seanan McGuire, that made me really glad the book's on its way. I laugh snorted through her Halloween story over at Terrible Minds http://terribleminds.com/ramble/2012/...
My must buys for March: Fair Game by Patricia Briggs, Crucible of Gold by Naomi Novik (dragons in the Napoleonic Wars, if you're unfamiliar with the Temeraire series) and Born to Darkness by Suzanne Brockmann. I like Seanan Maguire, too, so I'll probably pick up Discount Armageddon as well.
I've never gotten into the Temeraire series (don't like military tinged fiction much - even with dragons!), but isn't it lovely having books to look forward to? :)
Bought and read Fair Game this afternoon. Anyone else read it yet? Dying to discuss plot twist at the end.
Start the discussion without me (I won't look) I'm waiting for my paper copy to arrive -- shoulda gone digital!
I listened to a podcast interview of Patricia Briggs. Apparently the next Mercy book is titled Frost Burned and is scheduled for 2013.
I heard that there would be a wait but I also heard that she was planning to write some short stories from Bran's and possibly Sam's POVs. This thrills me to no end.
