Thanks! I can't claim credit for the idea...it's a challenge I'm doing with another group I belong to, "Nothing But Reading Challenges" (http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/3...). It's like the book version of crack to someone like me who just loves a good challenge. :)
But, yeah, the Decade Challenge is pretty easy in that it stretches your reading a little bit, but not so much that you can't easily do it alongside another challenge...or three, as the case may be. :)

It is! He had asked to see the challenges I had lined up for this year, and after looking them over, he said "You should just do a fun, easy challenge." I laughed a little bit, and he said "No, seriously - I've got one for you." So he suggested a slightly different version than the final version, and I said "I'll do it if you do it with me!" The game is on... :) (We're kind of a competitive family, in case you couldn't tell.)
It was fun, being able to hang out and talk about books, since he's not as big a reader as I am (he likes to read, but also likes to play video games, watch tv and movies, etc.). We've already started filling out the "Books My Spouse Chose for Me" list, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the list he makes for me is not filled with a TON of science fiction. :)
