The Bloody Book Club! discussion

Well, a few of us have given our lists for our favorite books read in 2011, and now it's time to think ahead to the new year. So I am making a list of books that I should, if I want to call myself a horror fiction fan, definitely read by the end of the year. Here are some books that I have no excuse for not reading yet:

1. Dracula by Bram Stoker
2. I Am Legend by Richard Matheson
3. The Stand by Stephen King

I feel like there are more that I'm forgetting, but those are the ones that stand out the most. Anyone else have any books that they feel they definitely should have read by now?

I can't think of any more,my mind has just gone blank,I have no doubt i am missing out some really good ones.

Bloodman,you should definitely read The Stand.Amazing book it's really long (took me a month to read it) but still well worth your time.

I know, I really have to read that - everyone seems to love it. I actually started it about 20 years ago or so (man, I'm getting old), but never finished it for some reason. I remember liking it, but I was a teenager at the time, so I probably got distracted by girls or something. But it's definitely on my must read list!

Your list gave me some good ideas of books I should read as well. I did read Misery, and I thought it was really good, so that one has my recommendation!
