A Perfect Evil
question
Who do you like more?

This is just to see which female lead character you all like more, Lindsey Boxer, from James Patterson's Women's Murder Club, or Agent Maggie O'Dell from Alex Kava's Maggie O'Dell series....
I myself like Agent Maggie O'Dell better, i think both are strong female characters but O'Dell in my opinion is smarter. and she shows a side of herself that i think we all have in us. She shows her emotions sometimes and doesn't hold back. Boxer just seems to be too careless too many times and stumbles into the real killer/killers by accident.
Have fun posting, ill be waiting too see all the different opinions!

I have never been able to get into James Patterson. His books lack the depth you get from Alex Kava. I also like Alafair Burke. She has some strong female characters.
I too like Maggie O'Dell...but, then again I LOVE all of Alex Kava's books!
Maggie wins, hands down. I like the support system that Lindsay has, but Maggie seems more real to me.
The Romanov Prophecy
When reading this book you can actually feel the trials that the imperial family went through.Mr. Berry does a lot of research and you can always relate to what is happening. Thanks a lot.

OK, here goes. I like them both and to me you have chosen two women whose lives, jobs, personalities cannot be compared. Boxer is a local cop who works with a partner, is married, pregnant, and has a full rewarding life. On the other hand Maggie is a,divorced, FBI profiler, who from time to time works with a partner, but her cases are much more severe than Boxer's. Plus she has no steady love interest or real friends (minus her dogs) in her life. I think the very nature of her work makes her a loner. I really can't choose between these two as which is best. But I can choose based on the author's writing style and I would chose Maggie. Although. I can't wait to see how Boxer's life will change after she gives birth.
I love both of the Characters that one is hard to make my mind up on the are love them both the some I love Alex Kava's books and I love James Patterson books
I have to say Maggie just for the simple reason I've only read one of the Womens murder club. They are on my list though to read, I love James Patterson so I know I will enjoy them. I love Maggie O'Dell. I've read all of the books. I read all of Alex Kava books anyway.
