One Direction discussion

Here you can add words to the 'Directioner Dictionary.' Anything that a true Directioner simply HAS to know, or any word that has a normal meaning but has a totally different meaning to Directioners. :)

P.s Do the word and a dash after it in bold, then to the meaning.

P.p.s Try to use like formal language to make it sound like an actul dictionary!

Directioner - Anyone who has a true love for One Direction. This means not just loving one of the boys, but loving ALL of them. You can still have a favourite but you don't hate on any of the boys. A Directioner will make it their life's duty to know everything that is possible to know about the band. :)

Directionator - The literal meaning of this word is someone who was orignially a 'belieber' but ditched the Biebs and hated on him as soon as 1D came along, therefore making them a true fan of neither. The word is now also used to mean anyone who thinks they have all the facts/ are a true fan, but consistently show signs that they actually have their facts wrong, or do stupid things to show off (eg. buy the 1D school bags) to try to prove they are huge fans. Directionators will also insist on calling Louis 'Lewis' and spelling Zayn 'Zain'. Also, someone who only loves some of the boys is a Directionator! (see the photos section of this group for more!)

Pussy - A word that Harry infamously whispered into the ear of Matt Cardle, when he won X-Factor 2010. He said - 'Think of all the Pussy.' When later asked WHY he said this, Harry went on to say that Matt had needed money to buy some cats for his mum, for christmas, and Harry was just saying that he could use the money to buy lots of cats. Sure Harry. Sure. :)

Omg I laughed so hard at the Directionator definition, so true. And Harry whispered 'think of all the pussy' to Matt Cardle not Olly Murs. :)

Pat The Dog, Screw The Lightbulb - a basic dance move that all Directioners know. To perform this dance move you have to first pat the dog by moving your hand up and down then lift your other hand and rotate it as if you were screwing a lightbulb and lastly you just go crazy!

And you gotta make a huge smiley face like Louis does! :D

"Teach me how to dougie"- To dougie means to be cool or have swagger. Niall likes to use this as his as his catch phrase.

Inbetweeners Dance - All directioners gotta know what this is :) They did it in their "One Thing" music video! and during their tour.

Vas Happenin' ?! - This is a term used by Zayn Malik, often as a greeting, but also when he doesn't know what's going on. To say it properly, you have to make sure you say it in Zayn's special Pakistani/English accent that only really he can do. But most true Directioners can get pretty close.

Yeahhhhh Buddie! - This is a term used most often by Niall Horan. It's a variation of saying 'yeah boy' and a lot of people use it, but because Niall uses it, the term is now more famous. It is also often used on the TV show, Jersey Shore, but we don't really care about that...

Potaaatooooo - Well hopefully whoever is reading this knows what a Potato is. But if you're a true directioner, you will know that this word holds special significance, because Niall says it funny. And now none of us can ever say it normally. We will always say it like Niall...

Carrots It is Directioners' favourite vegetable because Louis likes girls who eat carrots. When they were racing on The X-Factor, on one of their video diaries, he suddenly said "I like girls who eat carrots" for no reason. (: So all of the Directioners like boys who like girls who eat carrots and that's why we have a term like that.

Stop the traffic, let the people through - a move used by Louis William Tomlinson (see: pat the dog, screw the lightbulb). Louis uses this dance move on the Alan Carr Chatty Man show. The procedure is as follows:
Stop! The traffic. Push your hand out as if pushing someone away from you because they smell.
Let! The people through. Extend your other arm and beckon as if you see someone you know and want to tell them something.
This dance move is extremely well known and used in the world of 1D (see: directioner).

SUPERMANNN- This is a famous quote from Louis who was told to be more serious in the x-factor video diaries. He dressed up in a (not trying to be offensive) nerdy way. Niall covered his mouth and whispered, "Help." and did it over and over. Louis quickly stood up and ripped open his shirt where under it was a superman shirt. He screamed SUPERMANNNN!

Directioner-A Directioner is someone who 100% LOVES One Direction.
It TECHNICALLY stands for Direction Lover

Directionater-A Directionater is someone who HATES One Direction, but pretends too LOVE them.

*Directionator (See, I know the correct spelling. I keep my enemies close... Mehehehe.)

They're actually people who do 'love' One Direction, but in a fakish way, plus they don't understand anything. They overuse the carrot jokes, the 'Niall loves food' jokes, the 'Daddy Direction' jokes.

Nandos- A sort of TGI Fridays in the UK. Niall's favorite place to eat. Every Directioner should know of this place!

Wayn,Ian,Houey,Barry,and Kyle- The boys alternative names. Louis can also can be referred to as "Chop-Stewie", and Niall can also be called "Nail-File", or "Kitchen-Tile". You're welcome.

Sugarscape- a Directioners paradise for everything humorous about our boys. They do the best bits, and the funniest interviews. You're welcome.

Spoons- Enough said, or enough of what should have not been said. For our beloved Liam's sake, let us not dwell on the subject of his phobia.
