Sounds good. Last year I set a goal and didn't hit it but is was interesting to know how and what I had read that year.
So Missy
How close did you come to last year's goal ? That way,at least you will have an idea of about what to guess, or if you want to try to beat last year's record .

Setting a number isn't really that important and keeping track of what you have read can be fun. I think what is important is that you enjoy what you read and read as much as is reasonable for you.

Thanks for understandng . That's how I feel. If there's pressure to read a certain amount of books , or a certain type of book, then it seems more like a chore than fun .

It is all just for fun. I wanted to read 50 but with all the hoopla hear I only got through 12. Sad isn't it? One of my friends was surprised at how many she read, I think it was over 100. I also like to see people's lists of what they read because if they read a book that I like maybe I will like the others that they read. My taste of books jump around.
Hi Missy
12 books isn't anything to feel bad about. The number you read depnds a lot on how busy your life is and how much free time you have ,and also the size of the book .
A person could read 12 in a year, but they could all be huge 500 + pgs long ,so it's really not the number that counts .
