2012 What am I Reading?
I'm reading
by Jana Oliver by book
by Syd Mooreon Google Books app on my cell phone and
by Becca Fitzpatrick Hardback copy
I'm now reading Allie's War
by J.C. Andrijeski - my first sci-fi since I was a teenager (quite a WHILE ago ;)). A fascinating book!
I may have step-side onto sci-fi from my usual HF every now and then now :)
I am currently reading I am Number Four and Black Sun Rising...I have so many I want to read...just wish I had more time
I finished Paradise Valley which I enjoyed but I don't think I'll continue the series since it's not really my genre.I'm reading Through a Glass, Deadly which is the first in a series and House of Cards.
and
I'm not reading as much as I should. I got Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword for my birthday and I haven't been doing much else.
Just finished Embassytown. While a Sci Fi book it is also an excellent book for nerdy English majors or just those that enjoy language.Currently reading, Divergent.

How are you liking Skyward sword ? I love the game :) Just got past the fire temple !
My latest read was intriguing.Death Comes To Pemberley Instead of contemporary England, P.D. James has set her latest book at Pemberley estate in 1803, six years after Miss Elizabeth Bennet has married Darcy. That is, P.D. James takes the prose of Jane Austen as her setting. James plus Austen is a fascinating combination, although there are some difficulties in the marriage. Here's my review.

I finished that section some time last week. Without saying anything that might constitute a spoiler, I am about to finish the Second Really Big Task of the Second Phase of the gameplay. I'm one boss away from the Next Really Cool Thing that Happens to your Equipment.
I am struggling with the bosses, following my usual Zelda pattern ... make it to the boss room, die quickly. Go up against boss three more times, learning a little more about the movement and battle characteristics each time. Spend another three to five battles in which I am JUST ABOUT TO WIN AND IT KILLS ME. Finally defeat boss and realize that there are more of them waiting out there for me.
Sigh.
At least I'm remembering to eat, go to the bathroom, and pay bills.
And I've got Batman: Arkham City waiting to be played. And God of War III. But Zelda is just so compelling!!

I haven't played much the last few weeks due to the Wii having a gpu problem, hopefully it will get fixed soon and I can again play it . Good luck , have you played any other zelda games? my fav was Ocarina of Time and I also liked Link to the past.:)
Good luck with your progress and hope those bosses get easier :D
Still reading Divergent, which I am enjoying (but in terms of dystopian literature I, so far, prefer The Hunger Games and Katniss). Also delving into Head First HTML with CSS & XHTML for school.

I'm at a particularly cranky one right now, and I'm probably just a sword-strike or two from victory ... but I'm taking a break (so I don't throw the Wiimote through the BFTV!), which means I got some reading done ... finished The Demolished Man by Alfred Bester. Really good science fiction mystery.
Next up is Michael J. Sullivan's Percepliquis, the final book of his Riyria Revelations series. He's a goodreads author. I was introduced to him through this site!
Just finished reading A Bad Spell in Yurt and now I'm reading At Grave's End and The Lost City of Faar.

I'm getting these from Kindle Prime Lending, so I can only read one per month, started on January 1, am about halfway through ... busy week, otherwise I would have been done by now!
