Hogwarts Express
As night settled in, the train pulled to a stop at the Hogsmead Station.
Getting of with the other passengers, they found a carriage pulled by Thestrals awaiting them. They all climbed in, and as the Daniel got in last, the door closed itself and they set off for the castle.

Christopher sat, only accompanied by his thoughts, and the chilling winds.
Running down the hill and jumping over the gap between the ground and the concrete platform, quite recklessly, Abigail landed and sighed, knowing that if she had had a bit less of the momentum, she wouldn't of made the leap. Seeing Chris on a bench, she made her way over to him, her body freezing from the cold night. "My little adventurer out for another trip?" She asked, standing in front of him, and crossing her arms.

"Yeah, of sorts. What are you doing here, Abigail? Should't you be with your now not so ex boyfriend?" He said, some what harshly. "Sorry, I mean, what are you doing here? How did you find out- Athena. Damn her." He said, knowing it was her.
Connor wrote: "Christopher was surprised to see her here. He wondered why on Earth Xavier would let her come here. "Oh gosh, Abigail, your going to freeze to death!" He said, taking off his jacket and putting it ..."
Abigail smiled from the smell that came from the rougher fabric of his coat that he put on her. Sliding her arms through the sleeves, she hugged the huge thing close to her and smiled. "I wasn't trying to be so cold." She said happily, before he spoke.
Afterwords, she sort of wished he hadn't. His tone sounded mean, but regretful at the same time, and she furrowed her eyebrows. "Xavier was worried about you... He wanted me to come, because Athena was throwing a fit. Did you... Not want to see me?"

She wasn't sure what to do so she only stood there, feeling slightly warmed by his jacket. "Well, I don't mean to cry either. And I don't mean to be so predictable... I'll go back to the castle if you want me to. I don't think you get how unstable my life is anyway, with or without you here. Things are never normal, and things are always amazing when you pop up out of the blue. Besides you can't leave now, and I don' why you are..." Then she started babbling. Curse it.
"I know you and Xavier hate each other, and I remember alright? I remember when you kissed me, and I remember when you told me that... Those things. I remember it all, and you're no good if you leave now. If you leave now... Well you have to say goodbye to me, and you have to sit through my tears because I sit through your leaving all the time! I sit through it all the time, and I don't like it. For once, stay here for longer than two moments. Stay here and watch me graduate!"
She refused to cry... She refused to cry... She would NOT cry!

Christopher hated this part. Always had. He hated leaving her. But this was something he had to do. For himself, for his mom. Then he had a wild idea. Something he knew she'd never do. But, he might have a chance.
"Come with me, Abigail." He whispered softly to her.
Abigail smiled in his arms and thoguht he might stay before he starting speaking again. His mother made a name for one of the best adventurers out there, and Abigail knew he wanted to go and do the same. Keeo the name alive. She wss just worried he wouldn't care about keeping himself alive!
She burried her face in his chest and smelled the besutiful scent of something sweet but tangy at the same time. Something so soft, and comforting. And that exactly what the smell did. It comforted her until he whispered in her ear, something so final. Something so outrageously unexpected.
Abigail took herself out of his arms and looked up at him. "You want me to come with you?! I can't, and you know that... I know you were talking about crazy adventures together, but after all that...." She stopped and turned her head away, not looking at him anymore.

"Your right. It was a crazy idea. I just thought it would be fun for the both of us to go out and do more things together. But, it's too dangerous. Way to dangerous." He said, running his hands through his hair and sitting back down. It was time he told her his real reasons for leaving.
He had to tell her.
"Abigail, I've got to tell you something. Its very important, actually the reason I have to leave. Come sit by me." He said, patting the seat next to him.
"Please?"
"Oh, so you were lying before?" Abigail asked, feeling bad about her words right after they hit the air. She sighed and sat down beside him, closing her eyes. "What is the reason you have to leave me this time?"
She knew she was being extremely unfair to him, but she didn't feel like being jolly. Here she was ripped away from her boyfriend just after she'd reaches him at last, leaving him in a room with the extremely flirtatious Athena with the perfect voice and the perfect body with the perfect height. It was cold and cloudy, looking like it might rain, Abigail realized. No... Not water.... She hoped the water would hold to the clouds until she got inside.

"My mother was murdered." He said, his voice coated with anger and revenge.
"My mother was murdered by a man named Drake. And I'm going to find him, and kill him."
Abigail looked at him and furrowed her eyebrows, running a hand through her hair to keep it out of her eyes. She turned her whole body sideways, facing him with interest. "You didn't tell me that before... You didn't say that, Chrissy.." She said, letting silence fall for a moment. "You can't go out to find someone who was capable of... You can't just go do that."

Abigail closed her mouth and looked ahead of her, her heart feeling numb. "I don't think she'd want you to die. I don't think she'd even want you to go out there, trying to find this man. You're absolutely crazy, Christopher." She said in her sternest voice, hoping he would listen to her.

"I love my crazy, messed up life. I love what I do. I always have. Its what I was meant to do, and honestly all I know how to do. So call me crazy, I accept it." He said, sitting up again.
The train whistled and pulled into the station. Taking Abigail's hands he pulled her up and hugged her tight, tears falling from his eyes. "I guess this is goodbye, Abigail."
"Don't leave for this. Please... I know that you... That you love me." Abigail said looking away. It was a shame it didn't mean the same thing it used to. "And I know that Xavier... I know. But, please. Don't go get yourself killed over everything, Chrissy... I'm-I'm begging you." She said, tearing up and hiding her face from him quickly.

"You coming or what, buddy?" The engineer shouted.
"I'm coming, hold on." He responded.
Lifting her head, Christopher kissed her sweetly on the lips. "This is not goodbye." He whispered.
Turning he stepped on to the train. The train slowly started to pull out of the station. "Don't forget about me Doll face! I promise I won't forget about you. I will always, always love you!" He yelled to her, hoping he'd hear the words he'd been longing to hear for years.
Abigail kissed him back fiercly for she knew he would leave soon and she would have to go bsck to the common room without him. "Chrissy..." She said softly, watching him step on the train.
She lifted herself from the seat and followed the train, watching her feet. "Chris!" She screamed after the loudening train. "I love you too! I love you!" She said finally letting tears stream down her face. "I love you Chrissy!" She said watching it speed up and get loud and steamy. She sighed and sat down crying into her hands and into his... Into his jacket.
She still had it.
Thank Merlin!
She sat back against the wall and dried her face with his sleeve, watching the train go. She still smelled him on the jacket and she wondered if she could get scent to stay like she did flowers. "I love you Chrissy." She said again, this time to herself.
She sat for a moment, getting her grippings and trying to stop crying before she ran back to the castle, only to cry then too.

His jacket.
He laughed loudly, knowing he would be getting that back soon.
He had heard the words. 'I love you.' The words he'd been waiting years to hear. Finally. He walked through the train and finally found a cabin. He took a seat and watched the life he'd once knew go by.
He was about to become a killer. He was going to kill another person. For what? Petty revenge.
Hell. Yes.

The 4 kids waved goodbye to Jace, through the window in their carriage as the Hogwarts Express pulled away from the station. They watched his figuer get smaller and smaller, until eventually, they rounded a corner, and Jace was lost from sight.
The Train was actually pretty empty, as everyone else had been at Hogwarts for over a week already.
They were only on it now because they had only moved from Russia a few days ago. The only other people on the train, aside from themselves, was a few students that had been to ill to travel earlier or for whatever other reason. There was also a squib, who was apparently the new caretaker at Hogwarts....He didnt look like a very pleasant man.
Around Lunch time, an elderly witch, pushing a trolley filled with sweets, stopped outside their compartment.
"Anything from the trolley dears?" She asked them, smilling.
They got up and crowded around the trolley. Intrigued by the sweets, as they had very different swees in Russia, they ended up buying a bit of everything.
They filed back into their compartment, having paid 1 galleon for all their items. They each had a packet of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, a few Cauldron Cakes, some Chocolate Frogs, a pack of Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, some Jelly Slugs, a few Liquorice wands and some Pumpkin Pasties.
