I just read Austentatious and LOVED it... review soon! Now I am reading Fitzwilliam Ebenezer Darcy by Barbara Tiller Cole.
Yes, Austen-tatious is really excellent. Especially if you don't want any monsters or supernatural creatures. But if you do want to try a vampire novel, I highly recommend Michael Thomas Ford's novels about Jane Austen being a vampire!

I just read Only Mr. Darcy Will Do and loved it! I'm about to order some more books by the same author. I'm trying to decide whether to read His Good Opinion: A Mr. Darcy Novel, The Other Mr. Darcy or Jane Austen Made Me Do It: Original Stories Inspired by Literature's Most Astute Observer of the Human Heart next :)

His Good Opinion was a great book. I just started The Other Mr. Darcy, and I am enjoying it so far. Good luck on your choice, like me, sooner or later you will get to them all!

I started The Other Mr Darcy this weekend too :) The problem was though I got it out of the library and the library copy smelt very strongly of perfume. It was quite overpowering! I got up to chapter 6 and realised I couldn't handle the smell! So I've purchased my own copy and I'll have to wait for a week or two until it arrives so I can finish the book :) I'll read His Good Opinion next - I'm glad to hear it is good!

These are the titles that I am planning to read:1. Variation Stories- Pride & Prejudice, Hidden Lust by Mitzi Szereto
2. Sequel- Darcy’s Temptation by Regina Jeffers
3. Jane Austen as a Fictional Character- Just Jane by Nancy Moser
4. Paranormal- Sense & Sensibility with Sea Monsters-
5. Modern Adaptation- Compulsively Mr. Darcy by Nina Benneton
6. Mystery -The Phantom of Pemberley by Regina Jeffers
7. Supporting Characters- Mr. Darcy’s Little Sister by C. Allyn Pierson
8. Books by Jane Austen- Either a re-read of Persuasion or Lady Susan
The only problem is that they all look so interesting...I don't know where to start!
And I'm reading A Weekend with Mr. Darcy which is a modern adaptation, I guess, and was only $1.99 on Kindle yesterday.

I just read Death Comes to Pemberley and loved it. It was the first spin off of Jane's that I have read. Now I'm hooked and started reading Darcy & Elizabeth: Nights and Days at Pemberly. Can't wait to check out some of the suggestions you all are reading.
I've just started Amanda Grange's Henry Tilney's Diary (paperback) and Cornelis De Jong's My Brother and I (e-book). Going to review them both soon on My Jane Austen Book Club http://thesecretunderstandingofthehea...

That was a delightful reading, a real page turner. I read it in less than two days.

Have you read Captain Wentworth's Persuasion Maria? If not, it's a lovely read!
No,Brenda. My Austenesque shelves are crammed with good books publishers and authors regularly send to me. but I haven't got this one. However I can't read all of them. I'm also interested in other genres, like to change and must study to give my literature lessons. So I must select and renounce reading all of them.

I'm currently reading Jane Austen Made Me Do It: Original Stories Inspired by Literature's Most Astute Observer of the Human Heart and so far the short stories are covering all the genres we are supposed to be reading. It feels like cheating! I might have to pretend I didn't read this book for the challenge :)

I just started that one as well. Should have a review up next week. I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts are well.

I just finished the story "Jane Austen and the Mistletoe Kiss" which I really liked. It reminded me a lot of a Georgette Heyer short story called "A husband for Fanny" which is in the book "Pistols for Two". Have you read any Georgette Heyer? They are brilliant books! Her Regency books help fill the gap once you've finished all Jane Austen's :)

I liked "Jane and the Gentleman Rogue" too. I'd love to read the whole story. Does anyone know which Stephanie Baron book it is from? It says "Being a fragment of a Jane Austen mystery" so I am assuming the whole story is available?

"Nothing less than Fairyland" was good too! I liked Emma's solution to the problem... I wish I could read the rest of the story to see if her matchmaking worked this time!
I am currently reading Rainy Days An Alternative Journey From Pride And Prejudice To Passion And Love and loving it!!
