After hearing you talk about the Kindle, I looked it up on Amazon and was amazed! It sounds like a neat item, and the perfect thing to take on a trip when it is cumbersome to carry 3 or 4 books around (as I always do in my carry-on)!
Thanks, Teri, for the heads up. :)I would love to have a Kindle for travel, but I don't think I could convert completely. I love the feel of an actual book.
Teri-Where did you hear that a Kindle 2.0 is going to be released? Sorry I am just curious as I work for Amazon.com and I haven't heard anything of it. It wouldn't surprise me though, as with most things within the company we don't know anything about them in customer service until it has been released and the first order hasn't arrived on time.
That's hilarious Crista!! Isn't that the truth? I worked in customer service for years and the reps are always the last to know everything which is ironic considering we are the first (and only)ones who will be dealing with customers asking it about all day long.

P.S. James Patterson, Neil Gaiman and other authors talk about the Kindle on this video.
