Is it just me or is there more to Garrett? I get this feeling that he knows much more than he let's on.
Any time things come up, he takes it all in stride, like it's not that big of a deal. It makes me wonder, what do you think?

I think Garrett is more than he seems. He keeps turning up. Maybe an Angel? He keeps sneaking in where ever he can. And he KNOWS something!

It's just the way he seems to take things in, right? I think the reason Charley ribs him so much is b/c she too doesn't get him.

Oh, and b/c Reyes is super jealous of him!

I just read a bunch of reviews on Third Grave...my question is how did ALL these people get a copy before me? Ain't I special? *sob* I guess I'll just have to wait two more weeks...and then Reyes is all mine...(can you say JEALOUS)?

Cindy, I like your take on the angel thing. We've seen the gate of heaven, hell's top ex general, ghosts galore, even mention of demons. NO mention or sighting of angels????

It is a good theory Cindy. That easy acceptance of things woo-woo just screams of someone OTHER.

I may be confused but did Garrett really accept Charlie's abilities right away? He mistreated her for over a month when he first accidentally discovered her abilities from her drunk uncle. I did not think he started to accept and question her abilities until he started seeing some proof. Am I missing something? Please let me know because I thought he was just starting to come to come to terms with Charlie's abilities at the end of the second book and they were still working on repairing the riff he caused.

I personally see him as the main competition for Reyes. This is why Reyes appears jealous of him...but he could be more than a private eye.

He did give her a hard time, but then it seems like it just wasn't an issue, I don't know, but he may be competition for Reyes.

I am still trying to figure out why he suddenly leaves looking upset after our favorite scene with Reyes and Charlie in her office. If all the humans could see was her panting while plastered up against the wall, then maybe he thought she was crazy, was turned on, or saw more than Cookie and her uncle saw? He never says anything and leaves without an explanation. I find it odd. I don't know maybe I am looking at too hard, but I find his behavior odd. Everyone else questions her.

Then again Dana, we could be overanalyzing this and simply thinking too much like a woman instead of a man. The way Charlie was panting could have simply left his male member in an embarrassing state and he needed to go take things in hand (or run off to hide the obvious).

Yeah! I believe in Reyes...and no one, but no one gets Charley but Reyes! I mean I will give him up to her...but will file my fingernails to points to take on everyone else }:D

Cindy - I love Reyes, too... He is the only one for Charlie but Garrett is sexy also. Charlie only sees Garrett as a brother figure nothing sexual, but Reyes does not understand that.
