I thought that I'd start a discussion on favorite books!

The Warriors series, Hunger games series, Where the Red Fern Grows, and currently the Maze Runner are my favorite books right now.

Yeah it is! I mean the beginning was a bit slow, but my mom told me that it gets better so I read it and pretty much loved it. Have you read the hunger games?

of course! one of the best modern trilogies I've read, but I don't think I'll see the movie. I just imagined things too differently than most people.

Yes it totally is! I'm going to see it, but I can already tell they messed up on a few things...

definitely. I just don't want them to ruin my imagination.

I know. When I watched Twilight, I could never think of Edward the same way... Robert Pattinson does not really fit the role as Edward....

Yes, I agree it was really good. I just finished reading the book A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Kite Runner and I think they are both simply amazing! I recommend everyone on here to try to read one of the two if you're not afraid to read vulgar words and violence. Really good books!

Jasmine | ModernScrolls (modernscrolls) OMG THIS GROUP IS STILL ALIVE!!! XD
People haven't really been commenting in forever! I have so much stuff to add...

Haha, yeah sorry. So much to do for school. I'll probably be on more during the summer since I get super bored when I'm with my dad and post away!

Jasmine | ModernScrolls (modernscrolls) Haha I know what you mean. School's got my hands full as well, although I don't know if I'll be able to get on as much this summer as I did last.

That's fine! It'll be nice just to bring this group alive for once! It'd be even better if we could attempt to get as popular and get people to go on as much as the people in the group Writers Who are Children.

Jasmine | ModernScrolls (modernscrolls) Yes that would be amazing. Group goal right there.

ok, at my school, Kite Runner is a senior level book and most of the seniors didn't like it. I'm so not good with violence that I probably won't even be able to read it at school! I'd be too afraid of throwing up on everybody :(
Now Maze Runner was a super good book and I suggest EVERYONE read it!
