Oh, that's what everyone thinks. But I love Peeta. Peeta is amazing. And the fact that he can bake makes it even better.
Well think about it this way, if she chose Gale, then Peeta would go back to cooking and be sad the rest of his life, but with Peeta, Gale got a job and is living happily
Haha is that the only reason? And I saw Peeta as more of a friend than a love interest because I mean it was sweet when he threw the bread to her so she wouldn't starve, but Gale is hotter and Peeta was so boring!
I personally liked Gale better because he's hot. :)Peeta I found a bit geeky, but he was the right match.
Gale was kind of a jerk in the end...
Oh sorry hehe Emily's picture looked like Nick's because it was dark and I was looking at it on my iPod screen so it was small...sorry Emily-Chan!
Yes, because people are going to find and stalk her out of the thousands of Emilys that exist in the world. Right.
Oh well then that might be a problem. Emily, just take your last name off of there and you'll be fine. If you start getting stalked, let us know and we'll...take care of it for you.
yaa!!!!! she totally ended up with the right guy! I mean how can you not love peeta? he sweet, smart kind, and like Lumpia said, HE CAN BAKE! GOOOOOO PEEEEEEEEEETA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blechh. Never liked him for some reason. I always imagined him as a chubby bakery boy, because she described him as rounder around the middle than most boys. I know that doesn't mean he's fat, but that's how I imagined him. He does not seem like the right guy at all. GOOOOO GAAAAAAAAAALLLLLEEEE!!!!!!!! Or maybe Finnick...
WHAATTTT???? NO NO!!!!!! peeta is not a chubby baker boy he's AWESOME! :D and hes PERFECT for Katniss
No no he's not. He got injected with tracker jacker venom! He's unpredictable. Plus it's just kinda boring...

I still like Peeta. I think he's hot. And besides, I like bakery food and pastries. What's wrong with that?
Good effort, but it's going to take a lot more than that to sway my image of Peeta as a chubby bakery boy.
EH! Too many comments!! I'm not reading this all! Feh, Katniss made the decision herself, I won't say that this stands to gain for any one except a good argument. Let's focus on our logical reasons:Peeta: kind, understanding, a good painter, baker, artist, will increase her longevity in terms of MONEY. Being more experienced in business-wise, with experience in those areas, that's what he will help her with the most, witch she already has enough of as it is.
Gale: understanding, stubborn, (in a good way) able to see from all viewpoints, great hunter/good in combat/ will increase her longevity in Terms of LIFE.He has been hunting, fighting, and setting snares much longer than Peeta, and has some experience in the medical field, along with the fact that some ex-capitol citizens may be holding grudges..............................
I'm not implying anything so don't take offense.
Eh, Peeta is way too uncoordinated. I go for the more skilled guys, and don't find that much attractiveness in cake-decorating, though I do find it a good quality!
It's 6am and I've just finished reading Mockingjay. The trilogy has had me absolutely hooked for the last 3 days... But now I feel really disappointed and upset. What made me cry even more than Prim's death was Katniss ending up with Peeta. I know that whichever decision Suzanne Collins made would have resulted in some people being happy and others not, but personally I can't understand why someone would choose Peeta over Gale. Yes, they shared sweet moments and went through a lot together in the Games. But their endless quests to protect each other became somewhat tiresome by the end. Gale and Katniss's bond never felt that way. He simply loved her, and she should have realised long before that he was the one she belonged with. I feel so conflicted now - having loved the books so intensely, I'm now both angry and saddened at the end. We didn't even get a proper goodbye from Gale, we were just informed he'd started a new life. It would almost have been better if he'd had a dramatic and emotional death scene and a tearful farewell with Katniss.
I'm bitterly disappointed and upset about Katniss ending up with Peeta and not Gale. Real or not real? Real.
