I'm Michelle, I'm 16 going on 17 this year, I'm the middle child and have a rebellious younger sister and an older brother who I've yet to start respecting. I won't lie, I'm insecure about how I look, especially now that wherever we go and visit old friends and relatives, they all point to my sister and say she's gotten so much more prettier. And me? I just look like my dad who can be the devil's incarnate sometimes.

I have one brother, and two very strict, very Christian, very old fashioned parents.
I cry myself to sleep sometimes.
Not because I miss my family back in South Africa.

But because I'm gay.
And I know they won't be able to accept me for who I am.

Sometimes I question that. It seems like everyone's against me like all the time. They always attack me for what I wear, say or do. It feels like no matter what happens, is always my fault.

My parents constantly talk about my future wife. And my kids.
I can't get the heart to tell them that the person they see there isn't me.

Honestly, I just don't know. I never really make time to plan the future. I just wanna enjoy the present.

Hi Y'all. I'm Kubra but you can either call me <My sexuality has changed over the year from straight - to bi. I'm not one of those 'full' bi's but just that I am interested. This information is classified to the people in the real world. They cannot know - one because I know my parents would kill me.
They are VERY strict Muslims and are against gay people. I have nothing against gay/les peeps but I do have something against my parents. 
They love me I guess but me...no, No I don't love them. I use to but now, who knew feelings can change - so, so can love. 
I guess what I am trying to say is, I'm going to escape my family's ties. Their rules, their lifestyle, their love. Yes I know it will hurt them - but they kind of need a taste of their own medicine!
My parents are divorcing and...I am leaving. 
Hopefully it won't come to that but if they push my boundaries any further on how your supposed to live life than fuck it. I ain't falling for their bullshit! 
It's my life and I live it my way....and I know their trying to protect me...but it's costing me my friends and my life. 
Its like feeling trapped....but meh! Yea that's me y'all!
