Benny was wandering down the street, trying to find a plaid pantry or some other mini mart to buy some food for the go at. He wandered into one and started picking up armfuls of everything.

Eliot was sitting on a bench quietly, shuffling through his makeshift wallet. "5...10...15...20...21..." He counted each dollar or five dollar bill gently. He had pickpocketed just a few bucks, but that was enough for food. He sighed heavily and leaned his head back.

He finally got to the register and payed, walking outside and siting on the bench next to Eliot. He started to dig in, tapping his foot.

Eliot watched thoughtfully, shaking his head. He folded up the wallet and stuffed it in his back pocket. I can go one more day without food. One more day and ill use that money...

((IDEA! Eliot should fall in love with Benny, but Benny wont love him back! Lol, and im rping as if Eliot doesnt know him. Is that alright?))

Benny dropped a wrapper without noticing. It fluttered down and landed carelessly by Eliot's feet.

Eliot stooped to pick it up. "I believe this is yours...?" He said, holding the plastic between his fingers as if it was evil.

"Oh I'm sorry!!!" Ben said turning and facing him for the first time. His electric blue eyes flashed with sorrow. "It won't happen again, I promise!!! But...do you want one?" He asked, grabbing the wrapper.

Eliot's eyes fell upon Ben's, amd he instantly felt bad for acting like an ass. "Ah...." He looked down to his other wrappers. "N-no thanks..." He said.

"Are you sure?" Ben asked. "I have plenty!" He started drumming the bench without knowing, making up rhythms in his mind.

"Yes Im sure..." He said, haughtily. He crossed his arms defensively and looked away. He couldnt let this boy get to him. Dont be suspicious, he's just trying to be nice...

Benny's jacket shifted and for a second you could see a flash of bright blue feathers, contrasting with his orange tee shirt. He quickly fixed it though making sure the jacket didn't fall again.

Eliot's eyes caught it, and he bit his lip to keep from smiling. "Ahhh..." He said, with a huge smirk. "You're not as you appear to be." He let a hanf wander near where he saw the feathers, just wavering in mid-air. "You and I both."

He shifted nervously. A women came out of the mini mart her hand on her stomach. "You two boys staying out of trouble?" She called. Benny nodded. "Good." She walked away.

Eliot watched the woman go, and instantly started laughing when she was out of sight. The laugh started small but then gradually grew. He placed a hand over his mouth to stop himself as he turned away from Benny. He found her comment extremely comical

(it was going to be harper but then i was just like, lets stick with one for now.)
Benjamin smiled. "Umm...about what you saw..."

(i have a good idea. what if eliot kisses him later and then benny will get all mad?)

Eliot's giggles subsided. "Sorry...That was lame of me...Dont know what came over..."

"Don't tell anyone?" He tried weakly.

He shook his head. "Its alright, darlin'. Like I said, you and I both." He discreetly looked over his shoulder, then stood up. "Ill show you. All of it...But we gotta do it in private."

(lol that just sounds dirty XD)
He tried to hold in giggles. "O...kay..." He managed to say.

He offered his hand up to him. "Dont think im a creeper. You're looking at me like i'm some perv...."

He burst out in a fit of giggles. "It was just so funny!! The way you worded it..." He started giggling again. Instead of taking his hand, he took his arm. They walked to a nearby alleyway. Voices were heard coming from it.

"You were not supposed to tell anyone!!! For all we know, we're the only ones like this!" Rowan yelled at her sister.
Rainbow sighed and shook her head. "Your so...tight and strict. What you need to do is get lose..." She said in a dreamy voice. She was wearing a cut up tie dye shirt, shorts, and hippie headbands and jewelry. She took out some brownies. "These are some of the finest 'brownies' ever. They've got some REALLY good stuff in them."

Eliot pulled him along, down the alleyway. "Alright. You gotta promise not to laugh..." He blushed deeply. His wings made him feel like such a pansy.

"Okay. Why would I?" Benny took off his jacket without seeing the twins, his electric blue wings slowly unfurling. A few feathers fell, and he quickly picked them up.

The twins stood there, mouths gaping.

Eliot stared in awe. They're almost as pretty as him... He thought. "Uh...Because..." He slowly slipped out of his jacket, letting the article of clothing fall to the ground. His little yellow butterfly wings unfurled delicately, and wavered to and fro. "Because they look like this."

"Awww! I think they're adorable." Benny said, lightly brushing a finger against one.

Rowan cleared her throat. "Sorry to interrupt...but...my twin here thinks that pot brownies are going to solve everything. Opinions?"

Eliot quivered underneath his touch, smiling slightly. "T-thanks..." When he heard Rowan speak, all intimacy he was feeling with Benny slowly dissolved. "Uh...pot brownies?"

"You know, weed, grass, marijuana? Do you believe that they solve everything like my twin does?" Rowan explained, talking to him as if he was a little kid.

Benny jumped and screamed a little. He quickly put on his coat.

"Dude...don't worry...we got a secret too..." Rainbow said dreamily. (everything she says is dreamily so i'm going to stop posting that) She let her wings through the slits in her shirts. "See bro?"

Eliot's wings fluttered on their own in slow beats, keeping pace with his heart. "Uh...I'd say no. But thats just me..."

"You know, that's what I've told her for five years. But does she ever listen to me? No." Rowan turned. "RAINBOW! wings. in. shirt. NOW." She said forcefully.

Rainbow shrugged. "Whatever man, they've already seen."

"Well since it's already too late..." Rowan sighed and shrugged off her bomber jacket. Her dark colored wings spread gracefully in the dim alley.

Eliot watched with common interest. "They're pretty." He said, quietly. He couldnt help but think how much manlier they looked than his own. He grew envious.

Rainbow looked at Eliot's wings. "Dude...all of us...are so...in touch with our wild callings..." She muttered. "Except for her..." She pointed at Rowan.

Eliot bit back a giggle. The way she talked amazed him. "Hmm, we are?" He had no idea what she meant, but he was fine with not knowing

"Yea...I can feel it, swirling in the air around us..." She waved her hands around.
"God just ignore her. She's high 24/7." Rowan said shaking her head. This is what happens when you have hippies for parents. But I obviously straightened out." She smiled. She was wearing all black, her shirt was cut up and her nails were painted black and red.

Eliot wanted to fall to the ground in hysterics, but instea he closed his eyes, shook his head, and folded his wings away. "Can you believe these two...?" He whispered to Benny.

Benny smiled slightly. He touched Eliot's wing again. "I still think your wings are pretty neat."

Eliot giggled, and arched his back. Dont! Stop that! He'll think you're weird! "Why, thank you..." He said quietly, rolling his shoulders up to hide his flushed cheeks

"Your welcome." He said simply, letting his hand linger for a second before pulling it away.
(he's sending signs that he <3's eliot without him even knowing that he's doing it. lol)

"Gag." Rowan said.

Eliot's eyes rolled playfully, and his knees buckled. He stepped forward, away from his touch, and looked at Rowan. "What?" He said, looking at her with piercing eyes. "What did we do?"

"Get. A. Room." Rowan said.

Benny blushed. "I don't...I'm not..." He said flustered. Heat was rising to his cheeks.

Eliot glared at her, not amused. "We can shoe public affection all we want. Maybe you should leave us alone if you dont like it." He looked back at Benny, pleading with his eyes for him to play along for a moment

"Uh...yeah..." Benny mumbled, staring at his shoes. He started tapping another rhythm on his leg.

Eliot didnt touch him, even though he wanted to, not wanting to over play it. "Whatever." He said simply, and spun on his heel.

Benny then looked up, slightly confused.
(he's not very good at the whole play along thing :))
Rowan rolled her eyes. "Bravo bravo." She said, clapping. "But you can stop the act."

Eliot walked off, not wanting to be in company with any of them. "This was all a stupid mistake, showing them." He mumbled, walking out of the alley.
