Kayla It is terrible to see how much of the rain forest has been cut down. And how many of the species that inhabit that environment have been wiped out or a endangered.

i know how sucky

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

yeah. poor animals!!!

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

Global warming is really bad! Why don't people see that and understand it?

message 5: by Kayla (new)

Kayla I think people know it is happening, but they think it its on the other side of the world it does not concern me. But, really it is happening in their own backyards.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Really! I also hate it when people litter right in front of your face!

message 7: by Kayla (new)

Kayla Ya, we saw a person just the other day throw their trash out the window in their car. And it just amazes me how we can drive down the bar ditches to pick up trash, then you drive back and someone has already thrown their trash out.

♦Sarah♦Rockpelt♦ Sometimes people don't think about it when they throw their trash out. They need to be more aware. :-(

♦Sarah♦Rockpelt♦ I think its just nasty when people throw trash out and don't even care.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah!

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, it is... It sucks! When ever I pass any piece of garbage, I store it in my pocket until I find a garbage...

Poor rain forests.. poor animals that lived there...

message 13: by Katurah (new)

Katurah My science teacher is teaching us all about it, and I just feel exploding with anger at all of us who are doing such bad things!!!!

message 14: by Daniel (new)

Daniel I hate global warming because my great aunt lives in england and england might freeze.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

omg

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

wow, well, over here in texas, it's been really up and down. like, it gets really hot then really cold. creepy!

the more you think about it, the more you wonder why everyone isn't freaking out. but, sadly, people like my crazy rich aunt don't care and just go and buy a brand new gas guzzler. *starts crying*

message 17: by Kayla (new)

Kayla Ya like it was today really warm (short waring weather). And It was all weird looking out side with a really dark sky. So I beat some time in the next couple of days their will be a cold front. And just the other day it was slitting and we had a slit snow flurry sweep threw. .....Weather.....don't you just love it.... :-)

Andrea Kulman (andreakulman) 35 year old Mom & Author here. Hi there, kiddos. I think your group is GREAT! :~D

message 34: by cassie (new)

cassie (cstar12) Well plez stop abbreviating stuff! as I said, I'm only in 4th grade!

P.S. Is Gretchen your real name? Just wondering....

hypocrite clams... I am in the sixth grade... you know those air-dry thingies? If we just used those instead of paper towels, it would reduce the amount of deforestation, and, if we didn't make those huge, mansion style, two story houses, deforestation would decrease. The way I see it, if we tore down huge homes, and replaced them with nice apartments, it would reduce deforestation and homelessness. Using the lots that the huge homes used to be on, you could make more parks for more trees and grass. That's the way I see it. Wouldn't that help?

message 36: by cassie (new)

cassie (cstar12) I like that idea! Although I don't think the people who owned them would. I mean, if someone came up to your door and and said "We're here to knock your house down!" you wouldn't be very happy.....

hypocrite clams... Yeah. But it would help if they did... I mean, if we just explain our idea, maybe they would agree?

message 38: by cassie (new)

cassie (cstar12) You have a point!

hypocrite clams... Just, how would they react?

Ok well I dont see how it would help the homeless because homeless people are poor and alot of people wouldn't build an apartment for homeless people because they would want money back. But some people do which is good :D

message 44: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (love2dance) | 41 comments i agree with what emily said about the hand dryer-thingies. i dont like them as much as paper towels, but they sure do save a lot more!
