A small girl walked through the crowded marketplace in central Lilin. She daintily patted the perspiration from her forehead so it wouldn't smudge her makeup. While she was qute hot in the hood and scarf that covered every inch of her face but her sparkling blue eyes, she wasn't going to run the risk of being spotted. A frumpy brown dress was draped ever so carefully over her slight frame and clunky lace-up boots thudded hard against the hard-packed dirt path. It was a true danger to leave the palace grounds, but she needed to pick up her fabric or she would slowly rot in he deepest pits of homework with no relent.

Her eyes scanned the salespeople. The farmer, the poultry woman, the cheese maker, the baker. Ah- the textile stand! An old man crouched by the beaten table that was laden with beautiful cloth of very color and variety. He offered a luxurious purple cloth out to the crowd, but he knew it was too expensive for the townspeople to buy. Fortunately for the princess, she could afford the luscious fabrics.

She smiled at the old man and henwished her good day.

"Is my order in?" she asked quietly, glancing around.

"Yes, m'lady. Here it is." The old man raised a velvety roll of the softest pink of a sunset. It took Genevieve's breath away.

"It's beautiful," she said, already imagining the creations she could design. "Immust pay you extra for this, I just can't even explain how thankful I am-" Reaching for her change purse, Genevieve was shocked. Her purse was gone, and she saw someone run off into the crowd. "Theif!" she cried.

It was all too easy. Adelaide had just been casually strolling through marketplace. Her eyes looking around the stalls as if eyeing for deals. Although her intentions of course were never as casual as her eyes foretold. In reality she was sizing people up, deciding who had the biggest loot ad wa the most ignorant. This was the most important part of being a theif. You didn't want to underestimate Yourself or your prey for fear of walking away with little to nothing or being next in line to be hung. While estimating her chances with a very fat women by the cheese stall her eyes caught a treasure.

A petite girl hurriedly making her way towards the textile stall. By glance he looked like a normal young girl, but closer it was simple to tell she was more than that. The way she walked was unlike another person in the marketplace. She walked with elegance while others would fumble as if they've screwed their feet on backwards. Also she noticed a rather big lump protruding from under her clothing. It was all perfect.

While the girls talked vigorously with the textile man Adelaide walked over very nonchalantly 'accidentally' bumping into her. As her shoulder slightly collided with hers her fingers worked fast and quickly snatched up the lump. Walkin away she held up the purse and almost gasped. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. Her suspicions were right, no commoner carried around more than a little brown sack. She had definately swiped someone important, and the money contained in it was even greater evidence. Then she heard someone who unmistakably had to be the girl scream theif! Quickly hiding the purse in her sack she booked it running for the woods.

Shirley | 35 comments Alaïs was wandering around the forest looking for some herbs that she needed. A small smile appeared when she found the herb that she was looking for. " there you are ! " . Alaïs mostly talked to herself since she lived all alone in the forsest and there was no one else to talk to. She started to cut of the leaves of an Achillea millefolium . It had a healing effect on wounds so it was a pretty usefull herb to have in stock.

When she finnaly had cut off all the leaves of the plant a gush of wind sent them all flying. Alaïs started running afther them and yelled " come back! " after chasing the leaves for a while she reached the edge of the forest. She looked at the town, a shiver went down her spine . the people off that town had belived her mother had been a witch and burned her for it. She swallowed a lump that had formed in her trouth and blinked the upcomming tears away. She didn't want to cry about it anymore. She never went to that town anymore , She was scared of it , but more scared about the people who lived there.

Suddenly she saw a person running out of town, it had been a long time since she saw someone from the town. She noticesed that the person was running right towards the place she was standing at. She quickly turned around and hided in some bushes hoping not to be seen .

Luan bit her lip, carefully counting out the meager handful of coins as the vendor looked on scornfully. "Here, this is enough." She shoved him the coins, grabbed her few purchases, and turned away. A strong hand clamped onto her arm. She swirled around; it was the vendor.

"Two more," he huffed, pointing at her purse.
Luan drew her eyebrows together. She yanked her arm away from his iron grip and spat, "I paid you enough, now let me go."

"Two more," he insisted. The vendor made a dive for her purse, his grubby hands outstretched in greed. She pulled away, but it all happened so fast.

He reached for her purse. Luan reached for her knife. His chubby fingers fumbled with the clasp, and she swiped the thin blade across his middle finger and watched as it fell to the ground. He yowled, a screeching, piercing sound.

She ran. Before the guards had a chance to check out the commotion, she had already disappeared into the forest.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Disappearing skillfully into the woods, Luan was sure that no one was following her. From several dozen feet away, however, she heard the sound of commotion and followed the noise.
Someone was running into the woods, a small brown purse in her hand. Behind her, voices of anger sounded off like cannon-fire, hot in pursuit. Luan knew immediately that this person was a thief.

Despite her screams of theif, no one even glanced her way. Genevieve was shocked. At the castle, people around her would jump at the chance to assist her. Here, it was as if nobody cared.

Anger flooded her face. She pounded her dainty feet against the cobblestone as fast as she could, bulleting toward the woods. She would teach that no-good mongrel how to treat a lady of royalty. Upon arriving the woods however, Genevieve was disgusted at the dirt and bugs that lingered everywhere. It was disgusting. Nothing like the palace garden, with huge blossoms and bright green plant life. This place was dark and scary. Genevieve kept running. She had never been this determined.

After about ten minutes of running, Genevieve got tired. She rested against a tree and breathed heavily. She felt moisture on her forehead. Sweat! This would ruin her makeup! Before launching into an all out panic, Genevieve caught sight of a piece of clothing, and immediately thinking it was the theif, puffed, "STOP! You there! I command you!"

message 7: by Shirley (new)

Shirley | 35 comments Alaïs heart was racing . so many people had entered the woods today , normally this many people would enter in a month ! and at a slower pace , not running around like a couple of madmen.

Alaïs noticed that a piece of her robe was sticking out under the brush. She heard another pair of running footsteps and quickly pulled it under the leafy protection of the bush. But it was too late , she heard a voice yelling: " stop! you there! I command you ! "

Alaïs was frozen with fear, she didn't know what to do. All kind of idea's popped up in her head but none of them were good or even possible .

Alaïs slowly got up from her hiding place facing the one that had yelled. She was quite surprised the one who she was facing didn't look like somebody to be running in the woods but more like an indoor person. This made her curios but still cautious , she decided to hear what the lady had to say but if she made a sudden movement she would run. Alaïs knew the woods and if she fled the persuader would have no chance to catch up.

*Shirly: curios is spelled curious, and persuader is a questionable word to use, did you mean pursuer? :)

What luck, this petite girl had no hope of catching up to her! With this much money Adelaide could guess that this person was not someone who would be caught dead in the woods. Yet after successfully making a rather easy getaway she circled back around and hid behind a couple bushes. To her delight the girl had actually ran in! How pitiful, she was so far in and only those who venture into the woods often would know a way out.
'This girl must be so ignorant!' Adelaide thought. 'Was she raised within such confinement that she hasn't even heard of this forest?!'

It is said that if you journey into this forest the forest will eat you. You will have been swallowed up and the farther you go in the less chance you have to get out. This forest was regarded as the forest that never ends. The only thing that usually ends is your life.

Adelaide laughed softly to herself, what a stupid story. Suddenly she froze, the girl called out. She had seen her it was over! Peeking over the bush she let out a sigh of relief, she had seen someone else not her. Another girl walked out from under some brush her eyes sizing the small girl. 'This should be interesting' Adelaide's voiced hummed in her head. 'Let's see how this plays out.'

Kit (kitkong) Scarlet couldn't help, but laugh. She had ditched her her twin brother,Alexander for he was doing business and everyone though her naive and stupid. So she walked into the forest and climb up a tree to see the princess trying to stop a girl. She recognized her from when she stole from the palace. She also, saw that the princess had the wrong girl and that the true thief was seeing how it was going to play out.
'Could they be anymore naive?' she thought. She couldn't help but want to know how it was going to play out as well. 'If this plays out well, this could help my new client.' Her client, the mysterious man who had an interest on the princess. He thought her naive, but to Scarlet's trained eye their seemed to be more to the girl. 'Let's see what's going to happen'she thought and looked out to see what was about to happen.

((Scarlet- thanks for throwing in a twist for this Role Play! Glad you joined!))

Her eyes bulged out in rage. She was quite happy a long hood covered her skin which was probably horrendously blotchy from running. The rest of her woolen rags were scratching her in places where chafing was just unacceptable. How did the townsfolk live like this day to day?

She turned to the thief, tilting her head so that her face was concealed by the hood. "Young lady! Are you aware that the penalty for stealing is to have your fingers cut off? Of course, the moral laws you've broken should make you even more fearful! The fact that you've stolen from royalty-" Genevieve cut herself off. She let it slip! Her secret, revealed to a peasant! She had thought irrationally in her anger. She glanced around nervously. She took a few calming breaths.

Genevieve stepped forward into a patch of light and removed her hood. Resting delicately on her intricate hairstyle glinted a diamond tiara with the royal family's crest engraved in the center and largest diamond. Looking straight at the girl she thought was the thief, she said, "You have stolen from princess Genevieve, eighth in line for the ruler of Lilin. Please return my satchel and you will not be harmed. I must remind thee that if you lay but a finger on me my father shall have thee executed publicly. Your head shall be set on a silver platter and fed to the royal hounds."

A sound stirred the bushes. Was this a cult of thieves? What had she gotten herself into?

message 11: by Shirley (new)

Shirley | 35 comments Alaïs moved out of the bush she was still standing in so she wouldn't trip if she had to flee. She was a little bit affright of the person who seemed so angry at her . She wanted to offer her some lemon balm , it helps calming angry people but Alaïs didn't knowing the person would only see it as poison.

When Alaïs was accused of being a thief she was shocked and slightly insulted and the threats about the penalty for stealing made Alaïs a bit angry . Alaïs wanted to walk away , she wouldn't care if the person got lost in the woods. But when the person stopped mid sentence after the word " royalty" Alaïs got curious , again.

When the person started to step forward Alaïs took a couple of steps back . She didn't like to be close to this stranger , in fact she didn't like being close to any human at all. The person stopped walking when she reached a light patch . Alaïs looked at her , what was she going to do now?

Afther Genevieve had talked about who she was and made another threat . Alaïs had finally the chance to speak . " I don't know what you are talking about , but I haven't stolen anything from anyone. "
Alaïs looked straight at Genevieve.

((Katherine I appreciate your enthusiasm for participating in this roleplay :) but try to make rp's at least five or six sentences. I do really like the twist you are bringing into the story though!))
As deceitful and hell-bound as Adelaide was, listening to the consequences of stealing being set upon someone innocent did not lie well with her. Even someone as immoral as she had some dignity. To let someone else take such a punishment that was meant for Adelaide unsettled her to the point of anger.

Without thought she got up and stepped out of the bush a couple feet away from the two but still clearly visible. "If you're going to declare such a unruly punishment I suggest you declare it to the one responsible." She said mocking the princess's 'high and mighty' voice. Taking out a bundle of money and hiding it in her pocket in a quick movement she revealed the purse. "You're too naive princess, to declare death to whoever you lay sight on first. Is that really how you were raised?" Staring at the princess with a smile like acid she threw the purse as far as she could. It soared over the trees so far into the forest that even she wouldn't dare wander.

A little voice in the back of her head was yelling at her. She really shouldn't be yelling at royalty no matter how far down the line they are. She would surely be punished if ever caught. Her name and face would be on posters everywhere around town. What kind of mistake was she making?

Still Adelaide continued pushing her grounds. Biting out a sneer remark, "Let this be a punishment for false accusation of the innocent."

When the tall girl stepped out of the brush, Genevieve's brow furrowed in confusion, then embarrassment welled inside of her. She was as cruel as her brothers and father! Hot tears stung her eyes. How evil, how unjust she had been in her rage! Salty tears flowed down her cheeks. She turned to her victim, hanging her head.

"I- I am so ashamed," she hiccupped. "My mother always says that I have the most dreadful temper and that I am just a devil when I am angry. Please, girl, accept the most humble apology I can extend to you." Then, losing her composure, she dashed up to the girl and gave her a hug, sniffling the whole time. She opened her eyes and saw the tall girl, the real thief. She released the other girl.

"And you! Thank you for showing me my faults. At the palace, no one would be so honest to me. Thou art a wonderful woman." Genevieve curtsied respectfully. Then she grabbed both the girls hands and stared straight into her eyes. She lowered her voice. "I certainly don't need that money. Please keep it, I will not persecute you." Her chin quivered, waiting for the kind girl's response.

Kit (kitkong) She shook her head,'A thief who is actually good and a princess who admits her fault. What is this a movie?!'She didn't expect the scene to end like this.Nothing useful came out of it.It was all a waste of time,it wasn't even entertaining!

If she wanted to waste her time she could have gone to the bar.At leas their the drunken idiots would have entertained her when they fell and had drinking contests. She sighed,It was time to leave anyways before Alexander starts looking for her.Although, she couldn't leave until those idiots left.

And who knows how long that would be.She also had a client coming to see her,but everyone thinks he's a a suitor.Honestly, the rich look down on the poor, but they have darker secrets than them.Take the royal family for example, she's found so many skeletons in their closet that it no longer surprised her anymore.

Taken by surprise by the princesses touch Adelaide quickly whipped out her pocket knife and swiped a clean cut on the princess cheek. Pulling her hand back she growled, "You pitiful thing. Just because thee has high status does not give thee permission to lay hands on me!" Adelaide would had been fine if the princess had just said sorry. Yet the princess did something way over that. She touched her! Growling again she slightly stumbled back a couple steps.

Adelaide hated the touch of humans. They made her skin crawl, her eyes itch, goosebumps rise on her arms. That of mans touch was something so gross to her she had made every attempt possible to avoid it. And here this this girl, Genevieve, was touching her so carelessly. It set her off. "Who needs such a unfathomable wreck like you to be in the royal family!? Touching others as they please, knee deep in guilt. Have you no etiquette, no dignity?" She was being overly harsh she knew, but her skin was still crawling from Genevieve's touch.

"I don't need the likes of you to take pity on me." She huffed as she started to turn.

Shirley | 35 comments Alaïs looked surprised when another person came out of a bush claiming to be the thief . after the thief threw the purse away Alaïs looked at Genevieve who was crying.

Alaïs took a step back when Genevieve dashed towards her and hugged Alaïs . Alaïs froze when she was hugged. She wasn't used to being hugged, she wasn't used to any human contact at all! Alaïs just stood there , being hugged not knowing what to do. When Genevieve released her Alaïs just stood there frozen like a statue

Alaïs snapped out of it when the thief had cut the cheek of Genevieve . She quickly thought about which herbs would heal the cut the fastest and would leave no scars . Alaïs wanted to tell Genevieve but she didn't dare to speak after the thiefs outburst.

One moment she was offering the thief money, the next a sharp sting came from her left cheek. Genevieve's hands flew up to her face in shock Bleeding! She was bleeding! She squeezed her eyes shut and her whole body trembled. Hot tears flew and the salt made her wound burn. Why had the theif cut her? She meant no harm. She looked up at the tall girl who was screaming at her. Her words showed how disgusted she was. As the girl started to step away, Genevieve made an effort to calm her voice.

"I did not know it was uncommon for you people to share a touch. I am a stupid cow for thinking that it is the same for thee as it is for us in the castle," she said to both girls, as she girl she'd hugged seemed shocked as well. She turned toward the theif. "Dear maiden, I am sorry I have offended thee to the point that thou felt the need to defend yourself, but I mean no harm." She spoke in a soft voice. It was hard to deliver her message because of the throbbing pain in her cheek.

Genevieve heard the rustle of leaves. What was that?

message 19: by Kit (new)

Kit (kitkong) Scarlet cursed in her mind when she moved and crunched some leaves on the tree. She was close enough for them to hear if they were listening closely, she just hoped they weren't really listening. But,if they were she would have to play the Ditz card and she hated to do it more than she had too.It was bad enough to have to play in front of Alexander and his guests, but if they heard her she would have too.Or else everything everything would come crashing down if Alexander catches wind of her business. The thing she hated about being woman, they had no rights,so for now she's her brothers responsibility. For her father ignores her and only focuses on his heir.

She stayed perfectly still and tried to cover her breathing.Hoping in her head that they didn't hear, but she isn't a fool,sh'es almost positive that at least one of them heard her.Whether it be the the Ms. Royalty,Ms. Aggressive,or Ms.Innocent no matter who heard her no good would come of it,she thinks as she nicknamed the princess, the thief, and the child.

What kind of princess was this!? Adelaide almost couldn't believe her eyes. She had cut, CUT a member of the royal family and they were apologizing! Was this some sort of delusion? She must be hallucinating. This girl was nothing more than a lamb. Something so naive innocent that it couldn't even protect herself. And she had cut her! To think she had contradicted her own words! How arrogant she had been!

"I'm sorry." She choked out just as she heard a rustle in the leaves. It was soft, but obviously not made by the wind. Turning in the direction of the sound she held out her knife. "It's rather rude to eavesdrop isn't it? If you have any business with us I suggest you present yourself before us instead of cowering behind shrubbery." She silently waited for an answer. Keeping note that the little lamb (princess) and the other girl were behind her.

message 21: by Kit (new)

Kit (kitkong) Scarlet shouted foul words in her head at the girl and herself. At the girl for hearing her and herself for being stupid and getting caught.Well, their's nothing she could do now, time to play the ditz. She quickly observed the scene and anything she could use to her advantage to get out of this mess.So she pretended that she slipped and fell out of the tree.

She looked at the girls,"I'm sorry,I never meant to listen in."she told them apologizing with a sheepish expression.Even if she was acting polite she was inwardly cursing the girl who pointed the knife at her.

Shirley | 35 comments Alaïs watches silently as Genevieve apologised again , even after being cut. Alaïs watches the wound, it wasn't deep , but if not treated correctly it could get infected. Alaïs really didn't know what to say to Genevieve after the apology , she just wasn't used to any social interactions.

Then Alaïs heard a rustle in the leaves and watched it. After the girl fell out of the three saying sorry that she wasn't trying to listen in , Alaïs got curios

Alaïs looked at the girl that fell from the tree and asked " then why where you in that tree ? "

When the tall girl apologized sincerely, Genevieve's heart soared with happiness. Maybe she could have a friend outside of the castle! Wouldn't that be a magnificent treat! And the smaller girl could come as well, but she was rather quiet and unsure of herself. Perhaps Genevieve could take her under her wing.

It was no doubt by now that Genevieve was a bit naive. When another girl appeared, Genevieve was shocked when her new friend brought out a knife. Maybe she was a little blade-happy. When the other young girl spoke for the second time in a defensive question, Genevieve was even more surprised. At the castle, first impressions were very important but these girls were ruining the introduction.

"Ladies, please." Genevieve adjusted her crown then stuck out her hand. It was sticky with her own blood. "Oh, um. I'm sorry. Nice to meet you though, miss...?"

She looked at all of them,"I never meant to eavesdrop I just wanted to lie low until you all left.My dearest and sincerest apologies to all of you."She inwardly cursed her not-so-lucky-stars for not giving her the luck she needed that day.

Adelaide felt a bit of respect for the girl behind her. She was glad she wasn't the only one suspicious of this girl. Then the princess spoke and Adelaide wanted to slap her. She was in the middle of a forest! Yet she approached people so freely! With her identity revealed too! It was as if this girl was saying come kidnap me or rob me!

When the girl answered the question it was disgruntling. She was sidestepping the question. She pulled back her blade a little as of to show she was buying this sorry excuse for an answer. She needed to give the girl a false sense of security before targeting her.

"I believe what my friend means is why were you in this forest to begin with and what brought you behind that tree." she asked calmly nodding her head toward the tree. This girl's answer better be good.

"I told you I got lost and I really didn't feel like going back for a while. So I was just relaxing and lying on the tree when you came in running. The sudden noise startled me.So I climbed up the tree just to be safe."she told her with a smile. She wouldn't get lured into being safe with these girls no matter how foolish they are.She never trusted anyone except...him.But that is a different matter all together

Genevieve was not the most talented at academics or athletics, but she knew people. Being the youngest, she often served as a diplomat when things went sour between her siblings. People's emotions came to her as if the person had come out and said "I am not happy right now" or "I hate you". These emotions were usually covered up with a Cheshire smile, because the person was lying either to protect or hide something. As Lady Scarlet explained her situation with smiles and blank eyes, Genevieve's feelings toward her changed. What was she lying about?

"If you'd pardon my bluntness, why in heaven's name would you want to relax here, when you are a Lady? This forest is disgusting." Genevieve stepped a bit closer to the protection of the theif and her blades.

"I'm going to be forthright. Everyone here thinks that thou is a liar, a spy, something along those lines. So it would be glorious if you could please give us a straight answer, Lady Scarlet, if that is your real name."

message 28: by Shirley (new)

Shirley | 35 comments When the girl that fell from the three spoke and explained why she was in that tree Alaïs belived her. She didn't look like she was lying as far Alaïs could tell , but then again she didn't have much experiance with dealing with people .

When Genevieve said that the forest was disgusting Alaïs was hurt. She had lived in the forest her entire life and loved it with all her heart , this was the place where she and her mother had lived and everyday it reminded her of her mother in a good way . Alaïs had only to look at any plant here in the forest or she could hear her mother explaining what it was used for and how to prepare it. And now somebody was calling it disgusting!

Alaïs felt such anger inside her , she couldn't remember when she ever had been this angry . with tears burning in her eyes she screamed " How dare you ! how dare you call this forest disgusting! "

Alaïs was a bit startled by her own volume , she didn't mean to scream that loud. Alaïs didn't know what to do anymore so she stared akwardly at the ground, arms besided her with clenshed fists , tears still burning behind her eyes.

Augustine:

This was pointless. The girl was as adolescent as she appeared. The only reason he had hired her was because of that glint in her eye that told of darkness and mischievousness. But alas, Augustine had been mistaken. Staring through the black mass that he had conjured he watched his so called assassin converse freely with peasants. This would not have been a big deal if along with those peasants was his target! He grunted in annoyance as with one fluid motion of his hand the darkness shattered on the ground. The black puffs now like crystals scattered away to the nearest shadows they could find.

Walking into his room he sat on his mahogany bed, clutching the blood read comforter in his fists. He was so ignorant! To think a teenager could do a mans job! Had he been drunk when he signed the contract with her. Now she was off fiddling around with the person who was her assigned target! She sure was courageous. But he would tame her. He would show her how her work was suppose to be done. A little reminder, than punish her for breaking the contract later.

Standing up he looked into the mirror on his amour. Slowly shapes came into focus, until it looked to be a spot in the middle of the woods. About 2 miles from his target to be exact. Without a second thought he stepped into the image.

Let the hunt begin.

Words. How fickle they are. They can make a person laugh, cry, desire. Any word could mean a thousand things, depending on how one delivered it. Honesty could be drowned in sarcasm, and lies danced off people's tongues as easily as truths. Words hardly ever fixed things, but they could tear someone to shreds in an instant. The best thing to do, to avoid heartbreak, is to think before speaking. But If one thought before every time, would they ever say a word?

Genevieve meant one thing by her words but said another. For the umpteenth time since she'd encountered these people, she had offended them. It was her fault. Would she ever learn?

"No, it is I who am sorry. My tongue has hurt you all for the last time. I will have a scar on my face to forever remind me the power of words. I mean only to seek the truth, and I instead insulted thee. I bid you farewell."

Genevieve straightened her hood and walked away from all three girls. After one hundred feet or so, Genevieve realized something. Thus was not the way she had come into the forest. She was lost, it was nearing sunset, and she was alone. Panic gripped her and she prayed for any sign of light. She sobbed in desperation.

Wolves are silent creatures. There was no warning. One moment Genevieve was standing, next there was something on top of her. She comprehended few things. There was just the gnashing of evil teeth, the smell of her own blood, and her scream that pierced the night.

Shirley | 35 comments Alaïs felt a bit reassured when Scarlet placed her hand on her shoulder, hoping her apology would be accepted. When Genevieve started apologising to her , Alaïs became a bit confused she was the one who had yelled at her. But Alaïs saw the sun setting and realised she was tired so she made no objection to the apology.

When Genevieve walked away and was out of sight Alaïs realised that they where pretty deep into the forest, and that they properly didn't know the way , and since it was getting dark dangerous animals could already roam around.

Alaïs looked worried at Scarlet " you can't go alone , that's dangerous. If you want I can guide you out but we have to find Genevieve first , going alone is never a good idea at this point in the night"

Moments after Alaïs said that a blood chilling scream was heard from the direction Genevieve had walked in. Alaïs ran towards the direction the scream had come from.

When Alaïs arrived she saw an wolf on top of Genevieve . Without thinking Alaïs grabbed one of the nearest branches on the ground and swung it at the wolf . The wolf sprang off Genevieve but didn't back off. Alaïs looked at Genevieve , she could see allot of blood but couldn't see how great the wound itself was. Then Alaïs noticed there were more wolves she could spot around 5 but there could always be more .

Alaïs took a defensive stance near Genevieve . holding the branch firm with both her hands, ready to whack any wolf that attacked . But Alaïs knew wolves wouldn't just attack , they would just circle her and spot the weaknesses in her defence and use that to attack.

Alaïs looked at Genevieve , she was bleeding pretty bad Alaïs knew if it wasn't going to be treated fast Genevieve would bleed to death.

Kit (kitkong) Scarlet's hair on her neck stood up when she heard the blood curling scream. She wondered if her client was the one who did it.So she ran towards it and before getting their took a turn and made sure no one saw her,it's not like she'll see them again, and if she did she'll just say she got lost. She must admit she was a little scared, her client tended to be mysterious and vicious. The only thing keeping her from being killed was the contract. She quickly looked around making sure no one was following her.She stood quiet and held her breath just to check if their was a wild animal or someone there. After a while she took off running, but kept glancing behind her.She felt look someone was watching her ever since the girl screamed.Normally, she didn't get scared of screams, but something about this one had freaked her out.
She then looked around and realized she had got lost! She was so busy looking around that she had gotten herself lost.It was rare for her to not be focused and not to notice where she was going. She swallowed and looked around. She didn't recognize anything. She looked around cautiously and then decided to climb a tree. She climbed the highest she could go,but couldn't find the town no matter where she looked, only the forest!

Adelaide:
As soon as Geneveive walked away she knew this was not going to end well. When a blood curdling scream tore through her ears she kicked her heels up bolting with the other girl to find a wolf on top of the princess! Wolves were nasty things, they were hunters of the night with ears as fine tuned as an instrument and noses that seaked blood. Adelaide felt a twinge of guilt knowing that the wolves had probably come because she had cut the princess.

The stranger had knocked the wolf off of Genevieve bt wolves always traveled in packs. As five more lurked from the woods she drew her knife and charged barreling into a wolf and stabbing her knife deep into its flank. The wolf howled in pain as it swung its head back to snap at her. Rolling away from the attack a thought crossed her mind.

It wasn't dark yet...so why were there wolves?

Augustine:
His demon he had called were working wonders. The princess was on the ground at the mercy of a merciless creature. Seeing her face contort into a scream was so amusing. Suddenly though, the tables turned. The two girls she had been conversing with early were running to her aid. Augustine growled, they would have to be taught a lesson. Summoning five more wolves he directing them at the two girls who had so rudely interrupted his charade.

In the midst of this he noticed that his assassin had taken absence. "How pitiful," he said to himself. "the little girl probably remembered her job and is going to come crawling back to me begging for mercy." After all the girl would be naive not to think he hadn't been watching her every move. He sighed, why must he do everything by himself. Creating another portal to right behind the princess he walked into it. When he was directly behind her he quickly summoned darkness. A vein of shadow slithered from under the trees wrapping it's self around the princess's hands and mouth. The quickly changing the portal location he pulled the princess by her waist with him stepping into the portal.

(This is not good. I'm sorry.)

The pain clouded everything, it held her down. She felt like she was wading through a swamp. Images swam before her eyes. There was a loud buzzing in her ears. She was so tired. Her eyelids drooped, then shot back open. Falling asleep wouldn't be a good idea.

Time moved in slow motion. Someone came toward her. They threw the beast off of her. Genevieve squinted. The smaller girl, the one that Genevieve has insulted, moved so quickly. She was so fast. Genevieve's eyes couldn't keep up with her. There was a stinging pain. Blood.

The thief scared her. Her tall, beautiful image blurred Genevieve's vision for just a moment, and then she was gone. Her friend! Both her friends came to help her. She started to cry. What if they got hurt?

Just as she was about to take a breath, her air supply was cut off. She couldn't move. Her heart thudded loudly in her ears and all she could picture was the color red. She fought against the force futily, but she was so weak. It pulled her down, away from her friends. Was this death?

(Sorry for the huge delay!)

Adelaide: It all happened in the blink of an eye. One second she was fighting off vicious and rather suspicious wolves for the princess, and the next the princess was gone! Adelaide had turned her head just in time for her eyes to tune in on a black mist like thing gathering behind Genevieve. She was about to yell when another wolf pounced on her sinking its teeth into the soft flesh of her left forearm arm. She yelped kicking the dog off of her and looking back just in time to see a Genevieve enveloped in the dark mist.

She had to run to her! Getting up she grimaced in pain. Where the wolf had bitten it felt like a poison had spread through her veins. Digging its claws into her flesh as it slowly climbed up her arm elevating in pain when she tried to move it. Then suddenly, the wolves disintegrated. Into thin air they seemed to be blown away by the wind. Those really weren't ordinary wolves. Which meant this bite could contain anything. Although it stung like death and made her vision a little blurry no blood seeped out. This was something to worry about. But later right now Genevieve was in trouble!

"Guys Genevieve's gone someone took her!" Adelaide looked back where Genevieve had once been, sadly the portal had also melted away. Adelaide started pacing careful not to move her left arm. They had to think of seomething.

Augustine:

It was too easy. As he pulled helpless Genevieve into the mist he chuckled to himself. Where they ended up was his dungeon. Located 15 floors below his house it was almost impossible to find through the labyrinth of floors. Where they stood now was a dark dreary cell built out of elemental resistant stone. Chains were nailed to the walls and torture devices lay askew on the floor. He had obviously forgotten to clean up after his last victim. Taking the girl he chained her to the wall on the far left. Since it had the smallest braces it would be a snug fit for her, but a safe one for him nonetheless. Securing her arms and legs he summoned the darkness away from her eyes and mouth and waited. This will be fun.
