Ms. Katz passed out papers on every desk and copied some questions on the board.

Via walked in and took a seat.

"Hello Via." Ms. Katz said without even looking Via's way. She was just mysterious like that.

Via looked at Ms.Katz for a moment.The n she got out her paper.

"Have any questions for me, Via?" Ms. Katz continued to write.

"No ma'am."She wrote her name and the date on the paper.

"Anything wrong today, Via?"

"No,I'm okay."She stared at the board.

"Okay Via." More student came into the room and Ms. Katz called each by name.

Taylor walked into the classroom her head down

Via watched all the students come in.She noticed Taylor,but then returned her eyes to the board.

Taylor sat down

Kaygie walked in... With all her textbooks

Taylor looked at her

Eli walked in and sat down

Claire slumped down in a chair and buried her face in her arms, she began to cry.

"ummm r u okay?" kaygie asked

"No,"Claire mumbled from underneath her arms.

Taylor looked at them

"what's wrong?" kaygie asked

"Nothing,"Claire groaned,

"Worksheet are on all of your desks. Please get to work, I need to go do something." Ms. Katz left the classroom.

Via went straight to work on the worksheet.

Claire sighed, she wiped the tears from her eyes and slowly began to work.

Ms. Katz was still gone.

Claire finished her work quickly, and then buried her face again.

Via quietly finished the worksheet.She pulled out her book and began to read it,waiting for Ms.Katz to come back.

Ms. Katz came back with a stack of copies.

James walked in and got his worksheet he did it in a minute.

Via noticed that James had come in and smiled.She turned her attention to Ms.Katz and looked at the copies curiously.

"what are those for?" James asked the teacher smiling at via.

Claire sighed softly, not bothering to pick her head up.

Uhhh stupid sheets Kaygie thought

Via seemed okay about the copies.

gotta get this questin right, Kaygie thought.

"Here are the notes for this section. Study the formulas, you will be tested on them tomorrow. Now, everyone, attention to the board. See the problem? Determine k so that (-5,3), (-2,7), and (k+1,2k-1) are collinear. Do it. Now." Ms. Katz's heels clicked as she walked the aisles of the room, looking at her students' papere.

James wrote down the answer.((I won't.)

Via studied the question for a few seconds and wrote down the answer.

"Remember set both equal to each other. Via, wrong answer. You too James. Same mistake, how odd."

Via decided to study the question a little harder.She carefully rewrote her answer.

"Hmmm...correct." She said and moved on.

James went to the board and mathematically proved his answer right.

"Ummm...one, do not touch my board unless I ask you to go up there and two, you had the same mistake as Via. You're incorrect. Now erase what you did and sit down. Now." Ms. Katz glared at him. She hated when her students got out of line.

"your incorrect he took out a book the answer key is here and I'm right."

Via slowly ducked her head.She didn't like what she saw going on.

"James, you are wrong, admit and and stop disturbing my class before I send you to the office. I didn't spend years doing problems to have some child try and tell me that I don't know how to do it. And if your so great, tell me the answer and so help me, if you're wrong you'll be out of this class before you can say soh cah toa." Ms. Katz seemed furious. James was wrong and he was messing with her good attitude.
