Homecoming bt Cynthia Voigt is about 4 siblings.Their mother abandoned them in the mall.They don't have money but they know where their grandma lives.The rest of this book is their adventure as they travel and survive to find their grandmother.

Sounds like a great story is about to happen. Keep me posted!
I read this, and all the other books in the Tillerman saga, back in the 1980s and Homecoming was by far the best of the bunch.

It's a great story.the kids were very bold to have gone that far to find their grandmother.i admire such courage
