The Underground discussion

I did not like this book at all, I couldn't get into it; hopefully the movie will be better; any others thoughts on this.

I couldn't get past page 12 sorry this isn't the book for me. I would like to know exactly what the heck it was about though.

Really? I know it's a lil slow but it picks up around chapter 15 and after that I couldn't put it down....give it another try, it may surprise you :)

I could not get into it either, I have tried several times, but with no avail, I ended up giving it to my local public library.

I agree, I havne't been able to read this book either. Maybe I'll just start from chapter 15 then go back and read the rest.

Chapter 15?! Wow. In my opinion, that is way (WAY) too late for a book to grab my attention. I'm going to have to pass.

I agree, if I have to wait till the middle of the book to like it its not worth picking up, especially if I have to force myself to get that far to begin with

I couldn't get into it at all. I tried going back to it but it never grabs my attention; I couldn't believe it got picked for BOM. Not my taste at all. I want to see the movie though, sometimes with me that helps.

Maybe I'll try the same thing Kyra's doing start from chap 15. Alot of people have said it is a good book but I just don't see it.

I liked the book, nothing fantastic but it was alright. But the movie just made me puke
