What's the fate of the main character?

Okay... I've read the book and I'm interested to know what other people think the fate of the main character in Terran Chronicles - First Contact will be.
What do I think? I think the writer has set George up to be the main character in the next book more than it shows in First Contact.
Why do I think this? Because although he doesn't shine through as the main character in First Contact, he has discovered abilities that would make sense to carry through into the next novel and explore the potential of it.
I do like the fact that George is just "Mr Joe Public" rather than a mucho go getum kind of guy. It makes a fresh change and interested to see how this character would / could develop in the future.
My Request to the Author Please take George through to the next novel and explore his potential. He is non-agreesive but gets things done which is a pleasant way of going about things.

I will finally provide a hint about George. He does have a role in 'Discovery', a great role, one that I am sure folks will enjoy.

I agree with you Jason. George started out being a regular citizen and through his intrigue and curiousity, got involved (cooperated with) the aliens. Now that he is working with the aliens (not necessarily on their side)I think he will be an important link between the aliens and the people on Earth. The people on Earth don't know exactly what the aliens want and neither does George. If and when George finds out, it will be interesting what he will do and how will he communicate that information to the people on Earth. Will he continue to work with the aliens just to find out more or will the aliens use him for more than one purpose? Can't wait to find out more!
