good reads has a new look! its diffrent i dont know it i like it yet- but its not that much of a change.

yeah..i like it. but its kind of annoying..
yeah, like i really don't want an email for EVERYTHING that's posted.
yea my inbox gets like a hundred messages a day. Anytime someone else e-mails me i have to look through all that stuff.
I just chose to not get any email updates. I mean ill find out that you guys posted when i go on goodreads right?
yeah, i told goodreads not to send me updates on some stuff, but i still get tons of emails from goodreads anyway. i usually just delete them all.
What I did was click on the button that says 'do not send me any email updates' and then after that I went back and selected the 'notify me by email when...' things that I wanted, like when somebody sends me a message.
its ok. but yeah, that email thing is weird.
seriously. i mean, who would want to get an email EVERY SINGLE TIME SOMEONE COMMENTS????????
I agree whole heartedly! That drives me insane!!! And it does it automatically! I could understand if it was an option but it does it AUTOMATICALLY! That's annoying!
Just go to your account setting and then click Notifications. Then you can turn EVERYTHING off, or just limit it. I told it to only send me emails when someone sent me a message.
I didn't like the new look for a while, but it's ok, I guess.
i blocked them on my email. works like a charm
yeah it took me while to figure that out...
