Ok, I know I can't be the only one who is getting antsy for Nepoleon's book, Tessa, can you give us a teaser? I'm going crazy here!! :)

Horrified, she had covered her mouth with both hands, struggling to stifle a scream, and then her legs had given way and she had fallen to her knees, shuddering like an idiot.

For a moment, Salvatore had simply watched her—kneeling in the dirt, squirming like a worm—but his patience had not lasted. Jane had moved when he had told her to be still. She had spoken when he had warned her not to make a sound. And she had more-or-less worn on his last-nerve…just because she had. He had been determined to punish her for her insolence.

He laughed now, thinking about it.

They had been such minor infractions, really.

But it simply didn’t matter.

Defiance was defiance, and his enemies never went unpunished.

His lips twitched, and he sat up on the bed, contemplating the importance of that truth: Napolean Mondragon would not go unpunished, either. He could not go unpunished. The Dark Ones would have their revenge, and Salvatore would benefit, politically, in the process. He would pay Marquis Silivasi back for taking Ciopori from his lair. He would appease Oskar Vadovsky by demonstrating his superior knowledge of Dark Magick. And he would regain the respect of the remaining council members—the two who had witnessed his own unspeakable degradation—by doing what had never been done before: He would kill Napolean Mondragon, the ancient, here-to-fore invincible leader of the house of Jadon.

His plan couldn’t fail.

Napolean’s upper lip twitched, no doubt revealing a hint of fangs, and he felt the heat in his eyes, knowing they were glowing red. He could hardly speak. “Come, or I’ll take you.” His voice was pitched low in an imperious command, removing any ability she had to refuse. He was an Ancient—his power unmatched among all the Vampyr—and knowing this, he tried to soften what he did.

She was trembling uncontrollably now as she began to scoot toward the door, her body betraying her will.

I already said thank you but, I can't stop re-reading this teaser!!! What could be better? Napolean taking on the Dark Ones, that damn sexy Wizard Nachari? (had to wipe a little drool off my mouth there) More, More, More please :) Tessa is a genius, that's all there is to it. :) April can't get here fast enough..

I'm so glad you're intrigued. I have to tell you this was "THE" book for me. It took all of my blood, sweat, and tears...and emotions. It made me question my sanity, crawl onto the couch and wonder, "why am I even a writer -- I think I suck! -- what have I done!!!" and in the end, find that quiet place of peace where I knew I had pushed myself beyond my own limitations and made it to the end. That if this book never saw the light of day or received a single review, I would be more fulfilled for having written it.

I'm not gonna lie; Napolean kicked my butt! (What do you do with a demi-god???) But in the end, something completely unexpected happened: I fell in love with his character. :-)

Okay, thanks for listening to my rant...lol. Since so many readers have written privately and posted on facebook as well, asking for a sneak-peak, I decided to post these passages on my blog (including one more scene involving Nachari...since I know folks enjoy the Silivasis). Well both books out so far have been awesome! Looking forward to Napolean even more now after reading your post. I've gotten at least a 1/2 dozen people to read these and they all loved them as much as I do.

And the extended teaser what a treat and what a TEASE! April never seemed so far away!!

It's true, even with all the advertisement and gimmicks publisher's come up with, the number one seller of books is still WORD OR MOUTH. :-)

I'm glad you came to terms with Napolean. He seems like he would be a tough one to crack. I'm sure you were able to do it and just as beautifully as you last 2 books.

The first couple chapters of Blood Possession are posted on the website now :-). Also, the first copy of the print book arrived this week and was approved, so it won't be long now :-) I will keep everyone updated...

The print book is now available for pre-order on both B&N and Amazon, and the eBooks should be posted soon. Also, both Blood Awakening & Blood Possession will be available in a wider group of formats (ePub, for example). Over the next two weeks, I will be posting pre-release info on my fan page/facebook/twitter and setting up an online book release party...at my blog. I'm very excited (this was my editor's FAVORITE in the series thus far and I think it's going to be a lot of fun!) Thanks for waiting so patiently everyone: good times ahead! :-)

I know, I know it's just that I read a lot of different authors and none of them quite compare to you so I am just very excited. Plus I miss the boys from Dark Moon Vale :O)

I agree! Nothing compares. Tessa is the best. I am so spoiled after reading her books I am having a hard time reading other series.

Yes, the publisher added the book to Amazon and B&N, and at least Amazon decided to start delivering it early. Glad you guys are excited! :-) I'll still be doing the official release and release party on the 15th...as planned, so be sure and stop by my blog that day to enter to win a free copy...

I grabbed my nook copy!

I downloaded it and devoured it! It was awesome. Loved Napolean and all the Silivasi's, not to mention Ramsey and Saxson and Kristina was kick ass!! Loved it!!

a) the bookstores sold it early, and
b) readers are finishing it BEFORE the release date - LOL...

Honestly, I don't want to finish it quickly because then I will be depressed that it's over! Lucky for me I had a busy weekend and couldn't devour it the way I might have done. This way I get to savor it longer.

When Napolean says that he is justice, does he mean that he is justice instead of being a wizard, warrior or healer?

I beleive so because he is an Ancient Master Justice.

Is this the first time that it was mentioned that he is Justice? Or did I miss it in the last books? LOL

I have been wondering when that class would be introduced to us. He must be the only one that is justice because he is so powerful. Maybe his boys will be as well. I am only halfway through the book so I don't know what happens. I was very curious about the justice thing..

OMG!!! The book is just amazing, incredible. I thought I loved the first two books, but this one is the best. All of the characters were involved! It was just so perfect :) I am going to be depressed for days, unable to think of anything else now! lol. How am I going to move on and read something else? I can't wait until we can discuss the book!!!

Isn't it great Angela? my fav so far as well. Its been 2 days since i've read it and i think my heart has calmed enough to sit down and actually write a review. lol! There isn't too many novels that can follow that one. i imagine we can chat all we want at the celebration on the 15th. we'll talk then.
