Adriana Anybody know any good realistic fiction?

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 776 comments Same. I don't read it that much

Dani (czarinaking) realistic fiction is any book without all of the supernatural stuff and could happen in real life.

Define "Normal" Define "Normal" by Julie Anne Peters

i thought this was a super good realistic fiction book

message 5: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Thanks! (:
OMG! Demonglass is being sent to my library for me! I'm getting teary eyed. XD

Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens
Historical

Well if you don't know Oliver Twist... he's the I want more boy. It wasn't what I thought at all. He's had such bad luck in his life and I just want to smack those who have hurt him. I thought he was going to be more clever like Tom Sawyerish but he cried a lot. Which isn't to say I didn't like it but took forever to read. Loved the ending.

Adriana I actually just read another realistic fiction but will still read Define "Normal"

Eggs by Jerry Spinelli
I love Jerry Spinelli. Three books of his I've loved. One more and he's moving to my favorite authors list. (:
I found nothing wrong with this book at all! I loved David's and Primrose's relationship especially when described by Refrigerator John. Damn it Spinelli. Do you like to make me cry or otherwise just make me supremely happy!? I think I'm falling in love <3

It was so good! I love steampunk (Victorian sci-fi) The language was so discpritive, but it took me a really long tome to finish.

Adriana I heard it had zombies. Is that true or am I going crazy?

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 776 comments Yes! Lots of zombies!

message 10: by Adriana (new)

Adriana So weird. Can never read books about zombies.

message 11: by Dani (new)

Dani (czarinaking) zombies tend to ruin the story line of the book, what do the zombies do in that book?

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 776 comments Well it's the past of Seattle, but it's an alternate history where this big machine was trying to one for gold and accidently opened a vein of this gas called 'blight' that either killed you or turned you into a zombie. So they built a giant wall around the city to keep the gas in because it's heavy and sits inside like a bowl.

The story follows the widow of the man who made the machine and her son. Very few people live inside the walls, because there is almost no fresh air and u have to wear a gas mask.

message 13: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Huh. Doesn't sound bad.

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 776 comments It was pretty good. I enjoyed it. I think you would too.

message 15: by Adriana (new)

Adriana My brother read it and liked it. I never like his books... but I'll read it anyways (:

message 17: by Dani (new)

Dani (czarinaking) Just Listen

Just Listen by Sarah Dessen

Realistic Fiction

I like the story, how it has a theme and lesson in life. All Sarah Dessen's books are like that and I love them!

Dani (czarinaking) Phantom

Phantom (The Vampire Diaries The Hunters, #1) by L.J. Smith

Fantasy/Paranormal

I like the whole series!! And this is continuing it!!! They all have a moment with a flash of death, but none of them die. The opposite, someone comes back from the dead.

message 22: by Dani (new)

Dani (czarinaking) Geek Charming

Romance

Their is some romance in here with Josh and Amy, and Dylan and Asher. Very good. I recommend to read the book before seeing the movie, but it doesn't really matter. :)

Adriana YES!

Dani (czarinaking) The Iron Knight

Mystery

EPIC AWESOMENESS!!

message 27: by Dani (new)

Dani (czarinaking) The Iron Queen

I think the dreams of summer, winter, and metal make it sci-fi.

message 28: by Dani (new)

Dani (czarinaking) Crossed

In the very end, Cassia becomes a spy for the Rising. She is placed back into the Society to try and find their secrets.

Spy Fiction.

I'm not sure how to feel. I think the end was just spoiled for me:(

message 30: by Dani (new)

Dani (czarinaking) Sorry! I just had to prove that it was SPY FICTION after all. I'm really sorry! :(
