Social Studies Class!

Juniper sat down. Why the hell do I need to take this class, do Dermatologists need history for God's sake? Juniper wondered.

Alice walked in late, but the teacher, Mr. Jamerson, was later. Alice walked over to Juniper.
"Hi. Is anyone sitting here?"

"Nope!" Juniper replied in her normally happy voice.

"I guess that's kind of a silly question," said Alice, sliding into the seat,"I'd see if anyone was. Unless it was the invisible man. Have you ever read that? It's by H.G. Wells. I like his stuff. Do you? I should probably stop asking questions so you can answer them," She stopped talking, cocked her head and smiled,"I'm Alice by the way."

"Hi, I'm Juniper. My parents are kind of HIppies. They named my sister Sunshine, Sunny or short. And I talk a lot too. I haven't ever read any of H.G. Wells. But it sounds interesting," Juniper told Alice.

"Aw, that's an awesome name," said Alice," H.G Wells is great, all his books are sci fi, but not really. They are all REALLY about the class system , and other serious stuff."

"Interesting. I'm not of a science Fiction person, though. I'm more of a realistic fiction. Have you ever heard of Jodi Picoult?" Juniper inquired.
((will anyone take over playing Ryan? My person is falling in love with him!))

"That's cool,Alice continued,"Did Jodie Picoult write Wonder Woman: Love and Murder? 'Cause that looked good. I never read it though."

*walk in and take my seat "/ so nervous*

"Hey,"Alice called,"Your Jet, yeah? I saw your name on the fencing sign-up. Ever fenced before?"

*Looks Up*
"Um not really.ha it was my moms idea.She thought that i need to try other sports.and this was the only skool that ive been to that had fencing.so yea ha"

"I like sabre,"she scanned Jet, "You might be better suited to the toothpick though. Don't do epe just yet."

"Um,toothpick?"
She looks at her confused.

"The foil, we call it the toothpick."

((omg! My ELA teacher is taking like the first 30 kids to blazer lazer tag, and my SS teacher may be coming on a "special request" from me. I'll get to shoot my evil SS teacher! WHOO HOO!))

"Oh!Still confused but it will make sence later.So what are we learning in this class?"

"We're learing about the stupid american revolution... appearently knowing that we won isn't enough," Juniper said bitterly. "That's won't get us through life, noooo..." Juniper added sarcasticly.

"Thats like war,right?I hate the war."Jet gets up and slam her hand on desk.Everyone suddenly turns."Ha ops."

Juniper laughed at that. Suddenly she saw Ryan and had to stop herself from throwing a book at him.

Jet takes book."The trees been through enough dont you think.Here."Jet hand you a pen."Plastic!Ha but you dont have to.Im guessing you dont like him."

"No way. We went out for 8 months, and we had a pretty good relationship. But then I broke up with him, and he asked out Ginger. She broke up with him because he had been secretly crushing on her for months, and he really hurt me," Juniper explained with her teeth clenched and tears about to overflow.

((the only reason I say this is because the guy ryan was modeled after asked my friend out after I broke up with him, and so me and my otehr friends think he had a crush on her while he was dating me.))

"Oh well ill hate him to.Cuz i guess Ryan mean jerk in some other lingo."She hugs you and trys to make you feel better.

((ha and i say that cuz i hate a guy in skool named ryan;hes and a-hole))

Juniper gave her a hug back.
"Oh well, he got what he deserved. I think 5 girls yelling at him abot what an ass he is and giving him mean stares all the time was sufficiant... for the time being," Juniper said with a sneeze.
"Sorry, I think I'm allergic to him."

Juniper sneaked out of the seat when the teacher's back was turned and went to sit next to ryan. She sat down and started writing something, then gave the note to Ryan with a sweet smile on her face.
Did you know that you're a jackass? it wrote.
Juniper gave him a look that said mess with me, this is what you get. and sneaked back to his seat.

((Ooh, how I wish I could walk up to Miguel and call him an arse. Nah, my friends and I are just ignoring him.))

"hey," whispered Alice,"are you sure it was like that? We're ALL confused, maybe he's just going through a rough patch."

"That guy is such a jerk! I mean, we were going out for 8 months. I broke up with him, because he acted like I was just a friend. That night, he asked out Ginger! He was either doing it because he was depressed, and that would have broken Ginger's heart because she liked him, or he liked her while was dating me. Which pisses me off even more." Juniper explained.

((YAY! I'm going to a literacy night at my school dressed as Calvin, and I'm taking a stuffed tiger with me as hobbes!))

"Ha maybe you are.And way to go on that letter."Jet high fives here.
((late but oh well))

Juniper gave her a high five.
"I never seems like the girl that would cuss, but I have never been afraid to call someone an jack donkey when they deserve it."

"Well he deserved it.And you cant blame the facts "/.But I proud of you."

Juniper beamed then copied down the board
((my evil ss teacher is making make a childrens book by FRIDAY! and it has to be about life in a mission and 12 pages long!))

((oh yeah, no one else in this gosh darned world has to take their state history. I'm taking Texas history, and we have to learn about the missions.

Alice just shook her head at Juniper and looked back at her work.

After class Alice caught Juniper and pulled her aside.
Hey,"She said,"I'm sorry for being so judgmental about your breakup, I'm sure it was awful. It's just that I went through what you could call a breakup recently and yours doesn't seem nearly as bad. I was kind of in love, I'm not saying you weren't, but the difference was he was in love, too. He was mine. I found out that day that if you can forget him, you're better off without him, and if you can't, you have to love him anyway. It sounds like your guy, is somebody you should get over. It's tough, but you have to do it, sometimes. If he'd leave you, he's not good enough for you. He can't see the real you. So, you'll move on from your guy leaving you, and I'll love my guy anyway.

"No, it didn't sound like you were being judgemental. I just found out earlier that he liked her before we were going out, and he just asked me out because he knew I liked him. I'm still mad."

"Yeah," it's easy to be mad, I'M still mad, but not at him," She said, falteringly,"but love them anyway, right?"
She smiled weakly.

Asha passed by Juniper.

"Hey, Juniper, how's Ryan?" she said maliciously. "Well, I hope."((btw, Asha is a really mean character))

"Oy," Alice said loudly, "Knock it off Asha!"

"Oh, didn't see you there, Ally. How's the History revision coming along? Dates confusing you yet? At least I choose easy subjects to like."

"Oh, I don't seem to be having any trouble with social studies,dear, but thank you for asking, " said Alice, with a very condescending smile, "But I totally understand that. If all you can afford to like is easy subjects, then you go for it! If you ever need any help with the 'hard' subjects, you just ask."

"Oh, ha ha. Anyway, Juniper didn't answer my question." Asha looked at Juniper again. "How's Ryan?"

"I'm sure he's fine dear," Alice mimed looking at her watch," oops, aren't you late for something?"

"I wasn't talking to you, Ally." She looked intently at Juniper. "How's Ryan? It's very rude to ignore people!"

Alice rolled her eyes.
