Writer's Advice discussion

Any suggestions? They're always welcome, and if you can think of anything at all that can make this group better, feel free to post it here!

Hiya! I was thinking... it would be cool to do sort of an add-on role-play thing. Someone starts with a list of characters (with descriptions) and a general idea of a starting point, and we go from there! Everyone picks a character and just writes a scene, or even just a paragraph. It would be cool to see where it would go.

Just a thought... let me know what you think!

I've never heard of anything like that. It's a really cool idea, actually. I like it. :) Do you want to make that folder, or should I?

Sorry, new--but alongside roleplaying, what about collaborative threads between 2+ users?

Would you mind explaining further on that? I'm not really sure what you mean by collaborative threads. :/

Rather than a roleplaying thread (or in contrast to), collabs are a collaborative effort towards a specific narrative. It's basically writing the same story with more than one person, rather than each person dividing the narrative into separate characters like you would in a RP. A book with more than one author is a collab.
