If I recall correctly, there was a phenomenon that happened once in a great while that the violets would bloom in the month of March. It happened while Emily was there, and she and Bee and others commented on the beauty of it, and some of the circumstances that had happened when they bloomed in other years. Great part of the title.

I've only been to Spokane once for about a week, so my experience with this part of the country is limited. They look like very sweet flowers.
