The people have spoken! And they have decided that our second alternate read will be...Juliet Immortal! I absolutely love the cover and I can't wait to get into this one myself especially since Valentine's Day is coming up!

I am going to try and squeeze this one in as well!

I got the hardcover of this one and I'm pumped to read it!!

The cover is fantastic and I love the tale of Romeo and his Juliet.
The spin this one puts on that tale is so intriguing! I really hope it is a good read.

im so excited to read this book! im a total cover whore and blurb...well you kinda have to be.. :)
i will buy it as soon as possible! yh books are becoming really costly for me recently esp. since im just 15 -.-
any thing involving romeo and juliet is up my ally..with a twist no less.so excited

How are you liking Nightshade? I read the prequel and it was pretty good but I have heard so many conflicting thoughts on the series as a whole I don't know whether I want to start it or not.

Haha I understand where you're coming from...I try not to be but I've started doing that more and more recently lol

I'm actually really liking it, I just need the time to finish it, the weekends get in the way of my reading time.

I have heard alot of negative things about Nightshade, but I'm loving it really.

I really enjoyed Nightshade, I read the whole series, I think its a good series to read. ;-)

I dont really understand all the negativity about this book. Calla is super strong and a character to admire for doing what she thinks is right. And I think the love triangle really upset people, but I think that the author is so talented and tells these characters stories well.

I heard about the ending, I won't say anything because I don't want to ruin it for anyone else (kind of wish I hadn't heard it) and I think you are right Cambria, I think the ending really upset a lot of people.

Yes, I think you are right. The entire ending was a shock to me but I could understand it as well, I guess that's why I took it in stride.

Maybe it is different reading it from an author's stand point too. You understand how hard it is to make those decisions and know that they don't come lightly.

I think you could be right there. As a writer I try to think about the author's thought process and also I understand that the characters sometimes do what they want - not what I want them to do. LOL

I am glad I have read none of the reviews and steered away from it so when I do read it I will be surprised.

Lol I am pumped too! I haven't started yet either, I was so honored to get a copy of Bzrk (the first book I got by asking the publisher!!!) so I want to read that and two books on tour first. Soon though! I requested the author of Ethereal for a copy today.

I hear good things about Ethereal. I haven't started Juliet Immortal yet either but I really want to!!! Congrats on your first book from a publisher. :)

I just finished Juliet Immortal, I loved it, I love how the classic story was twisted, I love how it ended and am excited to see that there is a second book coming out. Romeo Redeemed will be out later this year!

I am glad you liked it Tammy, I really did too and I will definitely be ordering Romeo Redeemed.

I had no idea this book was a series! Good to know. I like the title

I did not either until I finished it last night, I just had a feeling, so I checked goodreads, and there was a link to the second book.

I can't wait to get more of Romeo's POV on things. I liked the few times he narrated the chapters.

Okay....back from major road trip. Four of my cousins just had babies and my aunt and I were the family welcome wagon. Hope to get caught up on books discussions with you!!!!!!

ive ordered the juliet immortal.it takes a whiel to come here so hopefully il read it soon :)

i have to say though i have spent my whole life crying over romeo and juliets story and the fact that he is evil breaks my heart 3 but i just love the twist.so original!

Thx :) it was pretty cool. Got to see the new babies..three girls and one boy and majorly fantastic food in Chicago, New Orleans, San Franscio, St. Louis and the stops in between. Not much time for reading....but I read nightshade and the first sequel last year....do love the writing even when I'm avoid with the plot shifts!
