, the male character it HOT, total alpha male, kinda reminds me of Christian Grey, (but without all the tormented soul business) and definitely not bdsm, as a matter of fact its a very slow build, but when it happens it is hot! I just started with this book and can see myself reading the series, this is book 1
kind of off topic, but the next Arcana Chronicles is out next month. An amazing series. Check it out if you haven't already!

No idea, I think she has at least a couple more planned.
Any news about the Arcana Chronicles book that was supposed to be released this summer? =(

No idea about the next IAD but THE DARK CALLING in Arcana Chronicles series will coming out February 13th as she announced on her Facebook

hopefully its Munro

Cause it's killing me. I held out a real long time on reading Wicked Abyss for this very reason. Now I'm bereft. And I adore Munro and I know it's been a long time coming but gods I NEED to know what's going on with this Accession. i.e. Nix. SIgh.

"Hey guys. I'm gonna write more books. It's all okay. Also here's a pic of my breakfast."
Or whatever. JUST TALK TO US WOMAN.

In any case, it seems that the IAD is a back burner series for her, no matter that it was the series that really launched her career and popularity. I think she wrote some earlier historicals that were OK. It would certainly be nice if she posted more about the IAD and kept readers up to date. It's really a momentum killer for me. I have loved the series for so long but the details are starting to fade.

I don’t know if y’all saw this/heard this but it’s a podcast with KC and Gena Showalter from October. She addresses the Munro book but has not revealed a release date as of yet. Happy listening!!

Maaaaaaaan... I tried to read some Gena Showalter because she was in the Deep Kiss of Winter shared book. But I could NOT get into her style.

Yes, I remember this! It was so long ago though, I'm going to need to re-read a bunch before the next one eventually comes out.

Is Kresley Cole still writing? I checked her FB and nothing posted for quite a while. I wish her the best and hope she can start publishing again.

Hey guys! I know many of you are worried about Kresley Cole. We are getting a massive amount of messages every single day with questions about her. Thank you for loving and supporting one of my favorite people on the planet. It makes my heart happy. But guys, I'm not comfortable sharing any details, nor is anyone working with me, so from now on the messages are going to go unanswered. I'm sorry for that, but her privacy means too much to me. I hope you understand.
Wishing you the best!
Gena

Also if any of you do not want to re-read the books just listen to season 1 of Fated Mates Podcast for a recap summary of each IAD book and funny interactions between podcast host SARAH MACLEAN & JEN PROKOP. Season 1 is all about the IAD series and I thoroughly enjoyed listening in because it just reminded me how much I love KC's work.
Again I hope she is doing okay.

Like, bad case scenario is that she never writes another book for us, but if she's healthy and happy that's all that matters. She's written so many amazing stories that I constantly re-read and I'd rather spend my energy being grateful and sending love no matter what.

Hi folks!
I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful fall!
I'm very sorry for the delay in book news and releases and can't tell you how much I appreciate your patience. For Thanksgiving, I’m going to be giving thanks to you guys for being so amazing!
I'm delighted to tell you that we're on track for 2020 to have at least two releases: MUNRO and FROM THE GRAVE, the conclusion to the Arcana Chronicles.
MUNRO will drop in early summer at the latest, and FROM THE GRAVE will follow in the fall.
I will share the MUNRO preorder links as soon as they are available. Until then, check out this cover! (Poor Munro, he never knew what hit him when Kereny came into his life!)

Writers often make much more money by self-publishing though it is harder, and they have no help (or have to hire help that used to be provided by the publishing house.)
Many of my favorite PNR writers now self-publish and I've drifted away from reading them. It may be because I'm bored with the genre, but it is also because the quality of their writing declined. Books got shorter and I could see the lack of highly professional editing.
