Listen up now! I'm am going to have a Q/A interview with H.M. Ward and I need questions, I decided it would be a contest.
In this topic, put questions that you want me to ask H.M. Ward. I will choose only a selection of them, maybe around ten questions. Whoever has the best question will get a signed bookplate for your book, signed by the author.

Where does H.M.Ward get her ideas for the books? What inspires her?

We are usualy happy to see bad guys get killed off or disappear, but not so much when it happens to the good guys, even when it helps shape the story and make it better. How does it make you feel to kill off the good characters that everyone loves?

I never thought about that. I like that question a lot. I'll consider asking the author that.

hmmm, my question would be does she know EXACTLY how the series will end &/or who Ivy will chose (eric/colin) or is it just a kinda sorta know how it's gunna be? I ask because some authors know the ending then write the series around it, and some know parts & write as it comes. :) good luck everyone!

You know questions like, How did this happen?? Or, you know something like that.

When creating and shaping the characters in her stories does she draw inspiration from people in her life, like close friends, family or maybe acquaintances? Or are they truly an individual of their own that has their own quirks and traits that come out as the story progresses? Or a combination of both?

my next question is... Do you (if you do what kind of) have a playlist that goes through your head (or you listen to) while you are writing... if you do have a playlist, do you base the songs on the characters or on what's happening in the book at the time?

When did she know she wanted to be a writer and what were her first steps in pursuing her dreams? Also does she have any advice for aspiring authors?

1. Both of her series are going to be completely different... How did she come up with such different concepts?
2. Does she use anyone from her personal life to fit a character? I see that Melonie has asked it better, but it's still in my thoughts :) but use her phrasing :)
3. Did she always want to be a writer, or did it just somehow become?
4. I know I'm always obsessed with music, but if she could pick a song for each of Ivy's relationships, what would they be?
