Character Roleplays discussion

Somewhere in the world there is always a street race going on. Why not pretend your one of the ones racing? How do you feel as your car cruises down the road? racing for money, reputation, love. Make your character. Choose your car. What do you look like? Whats your story? Interact with the other racers, compete in races (of course funded by my character), or just piss off the cops. (You can play as them too :P)

Name: Leanna Rodriguez (but everyone calls her Lea[pronounced Lee])
Gender: F
Age: 21
personality: She's calm and calculated and errors on the side of caution. It's not like she's a total stickler, she always shows up at the races, but it's mainly for her brother's sake. She's never once called the cops though. She's a tough individual to crack, thanks to all the police training she is receiving. She's a great tactician and schemer, often not being able to trust others or be trusted her self, not that she blames those who don't.

Appearance:
She's just an average looking girl. Hot or gorgeous are adjectives that are not used to describe her. She has a lanky frame with a hint of curves and that's about it. Her arms show an inkling of muscle tone from her physical training as a cop. Her wardrobe isn't great or anything either, usually consisting of jeans and a faded and stained shirt. She likes it better that way because she blends into the background.

Bio: Lea and her family grew up on the streets practically raised on motorized vehicles. She had an older brother, Antonio, who participated in the races and was killed in an accident, which is what drove her to be a cop in the first place because the guy he was racing cheated, tampering with his car when they were out celebrating a previous victory. She was 17 when he died. She has another older brother, Zack, who is a racer now. She goes to the races to look after him, really, making sure he leaves in one piece.

She's a cop in training, though she is almost finished with it now.

Name: Alex Leon
Gender: male
Age: 18
personality: Alex is kind of a dreamer. And a born trouble maker. Seatle knows his name, and not in a good way. He can zone out sometimes, but cars always ground him. You'll never see him as focused as when he's driving. But, out from behind the wheel, even if he does seem distracted, he's always alert. He could spot a cop from a mile away, and doesn't easily trust someone. But he has a list of people that would take a bullet for him, and a list of people that make him need a person to take a bullet.
Car: Anything with two wheels. He can't do a lot, but he can drive. Currently favors a black Cobra.

He dyed his hair blue because hey, if people want to call him a punk, go ahead and give them a reason. Plus, he was blond when he was west coast, so east cost deserves a new look.
Bio: Born and raised in Seatle, Washington, Alex was always a handful. He just enjoyed putting his life on the line. He had constant run ins with the feds, and a substaintial record by the time he was 16. The moment he got his licence, he started driving in races. From then on, he was a menace to society, and proud of it.
After he turned 18, he took off, leaving his negletful, conservative parents. He started heading east, and now resides there, enjoying the thrill of racing.
other: He likes talking, but mention homelife and he goes quiet. He doesn't talk about it, ever. Beside that, he's spontaneous, dramatic, and a dreamer.

personality: Zack is the silent cool type, not really one to reach out to people or care about their problems. He's only out to race and to keep his family's honor and respect. He may be cool and mysterious at the races, but at home it is a different story. He can be kind and funny and sweet and caring, but this sort of life is secret from the racing world.

Bio: His little sister is Lea. He, unlike her, took Antonio's death as encouragement to continue street racing. He wanted to find the man responsible and make him pay.

He has a daughter named Faith, who is 2.


family is everything to him and he always puts them first. He doesn't race for a living. He is a firefighter(ironically) but doesn't really care about going against the law. He's never been caught because he keeps his lives so separate.

Age: 21
Personality/History: Though at first glance you might not consider Audrey a racer, she sure has got it in her. This girl has manners, but she also has a fire in her that shines when she's racing. Her grandmother used to tell her than passion courses through her veins in the course of blood. Her well mannered tounge can translate nasty subtitles with a well-used vocabulary. Not one to stand for any crap she has outspoken opinions and is not afraid to challenge you. She's bold but not your average sharp tongued girl. She's not particularly ruthless, but has her moments. Don't try to pull one over, because she'll show you who's in charge. When she's on the track or in the streets she's competitive, and likes to race fair and square (of course, seducing is fair).
When she's not on the track she's a well-mouthed polite girl that will share her opinion but not dismiss or ridicule someone else's just to be vulgar. She was brought up between her grandma and older brother. She had always had a need for speed, since she got her first trike. She rode everything ATVs, mountain bikes, golf carts, moter*scooters, you name it. She loves the power, and though she may seem dainty she knows how to handle herself quite well.
Car: 1997 Chevy Malibu Classic
She had to save up for it forever, but when she finally got it second hand she knew it was the love of her life. A nice white vintage, always kept pristine. She knows the tricks to each control, and no one can drive it like her.
Appearance:

Bio: Audrey grew up with her protective older brother and her grandmother. Her mom was a flighty (literally) flight attendant, and their dad died on the force when Audrey was a baby. There are pictures of him standing next to his baby, or his car, in her appartment. Now she lives in a nice building, and works as a secretary for a high class paper business. It pays well and gives her weekends to go out and drive.

Personality: She's usually pretty low-key, but is passive aggressive. When she gets angry enough to show it, she really shows all of it. Has a tendency to do anything to prove people wrong if she thinks they are. She's kind of a flirt in the innocent kind of way.

Bio: She was actually not involved in racing until... Just barely. She was dating a street racer. However, instead of being the usual worried girlfriend, she always wanted to get in the car and try it out herself. Finally she got so fed up with him thinking her too weak to handle it and 'to sit in the backseat where she belongs' that she dumped him. It's not her goal to beat him in any and every race she can, even if she knows nothing about racing.

personality: She's a little bit snotty, but has the right to be. It's not quite cocky, more like confidence, because she's definitely earned her bragging rights. She's very determined and hates losing more than anything. She's not mean; in fact most people like her.

Bio: She was one of those rich kids as a little girl. Her dad was a professional race car driver, so she illegally learned to drive as soon as she was tall enough to reach the pedals. When she turned 18, her dad bought her that lambo up there. He died in a racing accident only a year later. She races now only in honour of him.
As for racing, she tried it as soon as she was eighteen and found she loved it, soon becoming a sort of prodigee in the street racing world.

Age: 19
personality: Jason is extremely cocky, but admitts defeat easily, usually with a laugh, and asking for a rematch sometimes. He flirts with almost any girl, and doesn't stop even if they're taken, unless the significant other is in the room.

Bio: Jason lived a normal childhood as the child of a mechanic and test driver until the age of 14. At 14, Jason witnessed his father kill his mother in a drunken rage, after which Jason ran away. Jason dyed his natural black hair, which he gets from his father, to white. He stayed with his mother's family for a year after explaining what happened, and then went back to his fathers garage, where he stole the Mustang he drives now, and all of the money from the safe in his dad's office. When he was running low on cash, he tried racing, and found a love for it. He races for fun, as he legally owns and operates a garage.
