Demetria's House
((Demetria? That's Demi, right?(: ))
((Sure!))
Demi stomped in, and slammed her bedroom door behind her. She threw herself on her bed, Nicole's stung face stuck in the back of her mind. She threw her pillow at the wall in agitation.

Matt was walking by the trailer, his hands in his pockets, and his hood over his head. He started humming to himself.
Demi heard a sound. It was a sort of...humming noise? It sounded beautiful. But she was too frustrated to act on that. She opened her door angrily, seeing a guy walking past her house. "Hello?!" She yelled to him.
Matt stopped. "Huh?" He turned to her, looking confused. She looked angry. He kept his distance.
"Could you please shut up. I'm trying to be angry at my only friend here." She said sarcastically, crossing her arms.
Matt was amused now, he stepped towards her. "And why is that?"
"Because--" She said, then got defensive. "And why should I tell you?" She looked at him like he was stupid to even be trying to mess with her. She thought back to the school. She stood up to those girls for a second, a second, before letting them walk all over her. Why?
"Because, I'm the only one here right now you can vent to." He said right away, no hesitation needed. "And from the looks of it, you really, really need to talk to someone. What were you doing in there? Throwing a pillow at a wall?" He raised his eyebrows.
Yes, she thought. She uncrossed her arms, loosening up a little. He was right. "I, uh, we, went to the Forbidden Cave." She admitted.
"Where?" He asked, honestly curious.
"Where?" She repeated, then she remembered. He's new...right... "It's this place you are never supposed to go to. It was marked off limits about 5 years ago." She explained.
"Then why'd you go?" He looked her straight in the eyes.
"What?" She asked, feeling dumb.
"If it's off-limits. Why did you go down there? Why did you break the rules?"
"I...I just wanted to..." She said, her sentence fading away into the darkness. His gaze was becoming uncomfortable now. You know how they say the eyes are the window to the soul? She looked down.
"See what was down there." He finished for her. "I understand. I've broken some rules here and there too."
"Like what?" She asked. She couldn't imagine this ridiculously cute boy burning down any buildings.
"Average stuff. Stealing, destruction of property. Etcetera, etcetera." He waved his hand as if to shoo off the topic of conversation. "Anyways, I don't believe we've even properly met. I'm Matt."
"Demi." She introduced herself, then scrunched her eyebrows. "Why do you talk like your from the 1800's Mr. Bada$$?"
"Why do you talk like you live in the 21st century?" He shot right back. "Because it's natural for you, isn't it? I thought so."
Demi blinked several times. "You're so...strange." She said, then added "And annoying." Just so she wouldn'tsound like she had a crush on him or anything.
"Why thank you." He smiled at her. "And uh, Demi?"
"You should talk to your friend." He said, looking seriously. He started walking away, but turned halfway aroud and said. "See you at school tomorrow." Then he was off.
That was it. He was gone.
And she was going to see him at school tomorrow...
Gulp.

2nd Day? xD
Matt snuck around the side of her house. This girl, Demi, was a challenge. He was always up for a challenge. Most girls jump all over him, the fact that she didn't drove him insane. She was really different. He was glad he skipped first period for this. He'd go back later.

Demi was napping in her room. She had faked sick to her mom to stay home from school, so she wouldn't have to face Nicole. Not to mention Lollipop and Gum Girl. Oh yeah, and Matt. She breathed evenly, slowly drifting into the dreamland...
Matt's plan was to just walk into the backyard, and just know the fact that she'd been there. He was slthering through the bushes, unseen, until he tripped over a fallen branch. "AGH!" He yelled on impulse, falling to the ground.
Demi sat up in a split second. She pulled on a jacket and some pajama pants. Her hair was unbrushed and her face pale. She knew she looked hideous, but she would rather live than die, so she ran outside. Then she saw him. "Matt?"
"Demi." He smiled, getting up and facing her. He was embarassed at first, but it soon went away, replaced by happiness.
There it was again. That I-know-something-you-don't-and-the-world-is-just-a-big-happy-place type of smile. He did it yesterday too. "What are you doing here?" She asked, confused. Was he stalking her?
((Whattaya mean? We've already met. Oh, you mean, like, inside the school? xD))
((Oh Jeez, how did you guys KNOWW?!?!?!! xD))
((xD!!!))
"I'm," He looked to a tree behind her, then back at her. ",picking apples." He lied, smiling.

"Uh-huh." Demi said, not believing him one bit. She pointed at the tree he was just looking at. "That's not an apple tree, you know." She raised her eyebrows.
"I know that." He said defensively. "I just...what made you think I was talking about that tree?"
"There are no apple trees in my yard." She said matter-of-factly. "So what are you doing here?"
He ran the back of his hand through his hair, breathing out. "Uh, skipping school?" He offered.
"Excuse accepted." She rolled her eyes, tired of playing this game. She thought back to just 2 nights ago, when she had yelled at Nicole. She suddenly felt really guilty.
He studied her face. "What's wrong?" He asked, stepping closer.
