The hope is left in a group of students, willing to risk it all.

Aurora ran into the court, as people ran behind her. She stood upon the tables there, the cooks were gone. Since last year, they were all taken as prisoners and killed, and no new ones had replaced them.

Belladonna flew overhead in falcon form.

Dylan followed Aurora. He was unsure if he would be able to help, but he wanted to do what he could.

Malia followed also.She glanced up at Aurora and sighed and looked around the area

((ah I fell asleep XP))

Reggie had followed, but the place felt different than it once had. He looked around when several jolts of pain ran through his head, holding it as he clenched his jaw. Why is this happening? What is this? This pain was stronger than before, and Reggie didn't like it.

Aerwyna and Seraphina were following Aurora when Aerwyna noticed Reggie didn't look alright. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice showing a bit of her concern. She didn't think it was right for him to be helping when he looked so sic, but it was his choice...

"I'm fine, just have a headache," he smiled reassuringly, but even as he hid the pain, his head still throbbed.

"Are you sure?" Aerwyna asked, not really convinced. She still remembered how sick he looked in the infirmary....

Aysel had followed the group, trailing behind awkwardly the entire way. She stood next to Aerwyna and looked at the boy, who was obviously hurting. Aysel bit her lip-- she hated to see pain. Gently outstretching her hand, she said, "Aysel can soothe pain, if boy wants."
Her Naiad's touch couldn't heal, but it could temporarily provide relief.

Reggie smiled softly, "If you want you can, I wouldn't mind," he said, grateful for the offer.

She touched his hand gently and closed her eyes. Strands of magic slipped out of her mind and wrapped around his body, prodding softly and healing where they could. Then she opened her eyes and withdrew her hand. "There," she said, satisfied. "Does boy feel better?"

Aerwyna smiled, she wished her powers extended to healing, but she didn't have any powers like that. For fun she decided to shift to look like the other girl. When her cousin saw her shift she rolled her eyes and muttered, "show off..."

Lacey slowly stepped in, gaze cautious. A few people started whispering about the long scar from her neck to the small of her back, then about her past. She didn't have an alaby so for all she knew, they might of been true. Lacey slid her knife in her boot.
Now, show me where you are...

Aysel saw her shift, and her eyes widened. "Oh! Aerwyna looks like Aysel now!" she exclaimed.

Reggie smiled at the girl's excitement, but just sat down as his head began to hurt again. Go away...

She saw him sit down, and her enthusiasm sizzled away. It had worked-- but only for a moment. "All the time, works," she said, confused. "Why not work on boy?"

Aerwyna saw him sit and frowned. She shifted to her normal appearance. Then she took out the waterbottle she always kept with her and used her powers to create a small water rose in an attempt to maybe take hiis mind off the pain a bit.

Malia walked over"Are you alright"She asked.She took out her necklace which had a small bottle of her tears,just in case

"Ohh..." Aysel's lips parted in understanding. She looked at Aerwyna; no wonder the girl had seemed familiar. "Aerwyna is a Sister."

"My mother was a water spirit of some sort... I'm not exactly sure if she was a naiad, water nymph or what..." Aerwyna explained.

"Aysel is a naiad!" she said excitedly. Then her smile faltered. "Oh. Was a naiad."

Aerwyna smiled. "I wonder if my mother's a naiad..." she thought out-loud. "Because that would only leave my family tree to uncover," Seraphina muttered. "C'mon Sera, we know your father..." Aerwyna said.

She tilted her head curiously. "Father was who?"

"My father was a Necromancer," Seraphina stated bitterly. "We're cousins," Aerwyna added. "Mine was a hydromancer," she explained.

"Oh." said Aysel. Because her English vocabulary was limited, she didn't know what either of those meant, but she could tell that they weren't good.

"You don't know what those are, do you?" Aerwyna asked, but she knew the answer. "A necromancer is someone who talks to ghosts and raises the dead, a hydromancer is someone who uses water to tell the future," she explained.

"Oooooh!" She nodded in understanding. "So hydromancer . . . one of Us. And necromancer not. Yes?"

Aerwyna nodded, "pretty much." She looked down at the rose she had made and turned it into three small butterflies. Then she made them fly higher and higher until the burst into little droplets of water that rained down on them. Seraphina yelp. "Aerwyna!" A small spark of fire erupted from her fingertips but she managed to coax it away before it did any damage.

Lacey sighed and hopped up on a table top, "Listen up!" Her silky voice echoed. "I'm Lacey Leigh Lovitt, and I have some questions. Does anyone knoe what happened to me, or who I have been around in the past year? I can't remember a thing."

"I don't know you, and I don't wanna know you," Belladonna said loudly, and unkindly.

"No, sorry," Dylan apologized. He was knew here so he didn't really know anyone.

Lacey sunk down, she was one of the most legendary people in this school, and she, or anyone else, knew it but Dimitri, Dusk, and Daunt.

Aysel stared at the girl for a moment, but then she shook her head. "Girl looks familiar, but Aysel doesn't know her," she said.

Aerwyna looked at her cousin apologetically, "sorry..." Seraphina scowled. "Do you want me to burn this place down?" she asked.

Aysel pressed her lips together and backed away from the two. No fire, fire was bad, very bad.

Aerwyna looked apologetically at Aysel. "I'm sorry, I may have possibly forgotten to mention that if I'm water, Seraphina's fire," Aerwyna said quietly. "That's Aerwyna for ya," Seraphina muttered.

Aysel looked at Seraphina with a cautious, almost fearful look. "Uh... no more fire, thank you very much. Aysel doesn't like, no no way. She goes this way now."

"Seraphina's not very good at controlling any fire she makes though..." Aerwyna continued.

Aysel gulped. "Then Aysel take care to stay away, yes, far far away."

Lacey groaned and rubbed her eyes, sitting in a chair that belonged to the table she was just standing on.

Malia stood and looked at Lacey.She glared and walked over to her"Why are you here"She asked,anger barely noticable in her voice

"To find out what happened to me," Lacey whispered.

"My brother and I have a strange connection," Aurora said. "I can hear his thoughts often, or maybe feel what he's feeling. But lately I havent. He set off for school last year, with letters told me things were great, and then went off to search for the danger. After it all ended he never came back. I need to know why, I need to know what's going on."
She gulped, knowing what she was about to say would cause a riot. "And that's why, if you'd be so kind, we're going to go down the waterfall and through the woods just as he did..."

"I'll come with you. I have a friend who went here last year, and I haven't seen her since," Dylan said.

Belladonna looked at the girl, reveiling no emotions. "Let me get this straight, you want us to follow the same path your brother did before he went missing?" She asked.

"Yes...I know it sounds crazy, but..."

"We don't actually have to um, touch the water, right? Because I can't swim..." Seraphina asked quietly.

Thalia walked up"Can I come to,maybe my brother is there also"

Aerwyna spoke up. "Seraphina and I will go," she declared.

Reggie went over and nodded, "I uh, sort of knew Daunt, so I want to help out..." he smiled slightly.
