Kelsi Calliari | 7 comments Um, im reading the name of the star by Maureen Johnson. It's pretty good so far and I really want to read City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare. Best series ever! I'm a huge bookworm and will read just about anything!

I'm currently reading "The Secret Circle'
The Initiation (The Secret Circle, #1) by L.J. Smith

It's laright so far but Cassie (the main character) is really whiny and dependant. If it wasn't for her I would've loved the story. Sometimes when I read a book, if the main character just cries alot, I hate it. Anyone else find that annoying?

yeah sometimes. but sometimes i like it when they whine a little bit, just a little, because i dont always like it when the hero/heroine has it ALL together all the time. :) but too much whining can get annoying :)

Kat (Lost in Neverland) (bnlnjf) I'm reading Shift (Shade, #2) by Jeri Smith-Ready and so far it's really good, I loved the first one.

I'm super excited for Bewitching by Alex Flinn which comes out February 14th.

And also Soul Eater, vol 8 by Atsushi Ohkubo , which is a manga, and it comes out February 28th. :)

Is "Shift" by Jeri Smith Ready a shifter book?

Also "Bewitching" looks good too. :)

Kat (Lost in Neverland) (bnlnjf) Do you mean a shape shifter? It's the second in a series called Shade, and it's about ghosts. :)
Yeah, I can't wait for it to come out!

Me too! Have you read the book Fateful by Claudia Gray? It's set on the Titanic.

message 13: by Softreflection (new)

Softreflection I loved Stargirl (Stargirl, #1) by Jerry Spinelli , It is still one of my favorites. It was heart warmong for me because it's one of those books that teaches you to be different, and just be yourself no matter what other people tell you. Another book i LOVED was Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1) by Rachel Hawkins The characters are completely funny and cool. The book is funny, suspenseful, romantic and really mysterious.

message 14: by Softreflection (new)

Softreflection I'm currently reading Marked (House of Night, #1) by P.C. Cast , judging by the book and the reviews, it's...not the...best...so far, but it's ok. I just finished Ms. perrigrine's home for peculiar children and although it was confusing at first, the story was fantastic. I CAN"T WAIT TO READ Nevermore by James Patterson !!! It's the last in the series and I can't wait to read it. I adored all the MR books, and they leave so many questions to be answered so i can't wait to see how it turns out.

message 15: by Cate (new)

Cate (mynameisamnesia) I'm *attempting* to read Angel Fire, the problem is... it's about twice as big as the first book in the series, Angel Burn. In fact, it looks like it *ate* the first one. Add that to the fact that I keep getting distracted by other books... It might take a while for me to finish.

Cate (mynameisamnesia) And I have a question... how did everyone add the pictures of the books into their comments??

when you are commenting, theres a box. At the top of the box over to the right it says add book/author, there under "search for a book to add reference" it says link and cover, click on cover then add the book you want. :)
