So I ordered an Obsidian stone necklace Yes I am obsessed with Obsidian, it was my favourite book if last year and when I found a necklace made of Obsidian rock I needed it. I will post pics when it gets here

I can't wait for it to get here because it won't look exactly like the picture as they are all hand-crafted =)

I'm dodgy with jewellery i can only wear gold or silver or i get a nasty itchy rash and i love some of the hand made stuff but its usually in base metals :(

I'm fine with it as long as it isn't earrings. I can only wear gold earrings but I'm fine with anything else.

Woo Hoo I need to get me one! I have seen some T-Shirts and other swag but I have not seen the necklace yet.

It's not for the actual book I just came across it on amazon and it reminded me of the book so I had to get it

Okay because I have not seen it yet. I want to see if I can have a graphic designer put Deamon on a canvas bag for me and I will show you guys when it is done.

How can you not love him Mel? Even when he was being a dick as soon as she saw those green eyes I was totally sold haha

tehehe he really is anal but that is his personality! I love it I live with a Deamon as far as personality goes and I wouldn't have it any other way ;)

yeah its him being a dick that has me on the fence, i was starting to warm up to him by the end of the book and he did have his moments but I hated the constant rejection and hot & cold thing grrrr if i had been her i would of smacked him in the face and walked away. I must admit though i loved the 'getting rid of the energy' part when he walked away, it was funny - but still frustrating haha

That is true Mel. My best friend at uni just finished it and she was like as much as I love him if I were her I would have punched him. LOL

Mel the 'getting rid of the energy' scene is one of my favourites. Has everyone read it from him POV. It was on Jen's blog sometime

So I know I already read Pure thanks to Donna (heart you) but I just got this amazing email from the book depository on about my pre-order of Pure and said it's been made available and they'll be shipping it in the next couple of days.

Kay, I also got that mail somewhere last week. I am so excited it is releashed earlier on the bookdepository too! When will the buddy read for Pure start?

When is the group read?

I don't know yet Lolita. I'm gonna send out a group message asking people who are interested to let me know and then see when they get the copies. Whether theirs has been shipped or not. The buddy read was going to be next month but I heard Amazon are shipping theirs now. I am planning a group read/re-read of Half-Blood as well for anyone who is interested. I'll sort it out early next week and get back to you.

I'm just about free now most of my dissertation is done wahoo! lol

Hey, I got the email saying that I was getting an ARC and the big mass email and I emailed back saying that I was Irish for the British+Irish special blog tour but I never got an email back. What did that email say??

I know most of you here are amazing Lux fans so I felt the need to let you all know that in the #YAMM (YA March Madness) Obsidian is losing against Wither by Lauren DeStefano!!! We must vote!! Obsidian, no, DAEMON is LOSING!! By like 5 votes!! And for Covenant fans Alex is losing by more than 10 votes to The Iron Knight!! They both have tough opponents but they can win if we vote!!!!! It's on Jen's blog that she hopes to win!!

So I got an email from Caitlyn with a date for the Daemon tour and a proposal for the kind of post they'd like. I'm quite happy with it as it will tie into perfectly with a couple of posts I've done regarding werewolves in the past along the same theme. :o)
