i love Damon i think he is dangerous mysterious charming .i do feel in the books he is alot more distant than the show but either way its Elenas caring kind ways that make Damon respond to her and care and want to protect her. Elena has fun with him and he is very mischevious with her to .i love their banter .

I think Damon and Bonnie are very precious together.

I USED to love him in the books. Then the tv series came out.

I liked him better in the books. I only read the first four I think but he wasn't a constant pain in the butt to me. He was snarky but I felt like he was so good especially when (view spoiler)[Caroline was killed and he couldn't get to her to save her (hide spoiler)]. He was so upset and you just wanted to squeeze him and tell him it would be okay. :)

I like him more in the show. He's showing of his soft side now but I want him bad. xD

I love Damon. I think he and Elena are like perfect for one another. She pushes his buttons to make him actually feel and he pushes her buttons to make her actually think for once. I liked him with Bonnie but then i decided she and Matt should be together!.

Yeah, so I saw the tv series season 1 and loved it, so I decided to read the books. I regretted it. the tv series is sooo much better, if you ask me. Prob cuz I love Damon and in the books he's... well, he's just plain old evil.
In the tv series he has real depth and a past and reasons, and he's actually in LOVE with Elena. the only real Damon moment I remember from the books was when he turned into a vampire and briefly brainwashed her in to hating Stefan and THINKING she loved him. Which was uncool.

if you like damon you might like book 4 and 5 of tvd theres alot of delena .the books are called shadow souls and nightfall .

Damon is the perfect mixture of sexy and fucking hilarious, i will love him always, in the books and on TV.

I sooooo love him, if I was 20 or 15 years older I would want to marry him~! ;D

At first, I didn't like him. Sure he was super hot, but for me, that's not enough to like someone. But then somewhere in season one I slowly started to like him.

Loved him in the TV series although I was disappointed with the books. But non the less he was tasty in both ;)

Love Him is one of my favorite book boyfriends, this may be because of Ian Somerhalder but... I don't care, Damon is so special, never good, never bad, you fall in love with him even if you don't want to.

I love Damon in both the books and the tv series. Ian Sommerhalder is so hot. Damon is hilarious also with his one liners.
