The hunger/hunted games. discussion

((District 4 RP!))

Even looking at the beach, it still didn't calm Charissa's nerves. She sighed and massaged her temple. A few days from now, another Hunted games will occur. Gosh, she could give you a thousand reasons why she hate that thing! It is such a callous entertainment for the people in the Capitol! They deserve to be in the depths of Tartarus or be sent in the Fields of Punishment!
Charissa sighed again. Even if she was almost already used to in being a mentor of district 4, she still felt the girl who was very shy, childish and sensitive before the games! After the 28th games, many people told her she had changed. A lot. She became more matured and whenever she ran, as if though she was running for her life! But they couldn't blame her anyway. She ran her whole life at the games, that was why she survived. Hiding, dodging, making traps, using her brains... That were just four of the many reasons why she won.
The next games, she couldn't believe she was chosen to be a mentor!
So far, she had saved, unfortunately, one life. Her name is Sharlene, the winner of the 33rd Hunted games. She took the job for only one reason: to prevent another innocent life killed by the stupid and "Vlacas" entertainment of the Capitol. And, she'll do anything to reach her goal.

Sabina came into District 4, as she was able to, since she was a mentor. She asked Charissa:

"You OK?" She asked. She was worried about Nataly and Gadesh, her cousins children. She was going to make sure District 5, 3 and 13 had survived, no matter what.

Charissa looked up and wasn't surprised Sabina was there. Sabina love to transfer from a district to another one. In short, she loves to travel.
She forced a smiled. "I'm OK." Seeing the worried look from Sabina's face, Charissa just sighed and admitted," I'm worried. Another Hunted games will occur! Another 23 lives will be lost! Sabina, I'll do anything just to stop this ridiculous thing! They're just innocent! I just, doesn't want them to die!"

"I know... but don't worry, I forced the capitol to bend the rules. By the 31st of December, if a number of Tributes survive, they will be victors." Sabina said.

((Um... Bend the rules? How can you do that? *is wondering*))
Charissa sighed in relief. "That's good news! But still, even with this new rule, we can't stop the killing of innocent lives..."

((Well... if you have a ton of nuclear weapons you secretly brought to the Capitol from your District... and aim it at the president's building, it should be easy.))

"We will need a lot of people to sponsor them." Sabina said. Of course... she survived the games by hiding, using her bow and arrows,and setting traps up, while the others got killed viciously by hostile animals or mutts. She shivered at the thought when she remembered that she saw a boy tribute got ripped to pieces by the wolf mutts.

"I know..." Charissa said. Charissa is a book author/feature writer on the official newspaper of the Capitol/storywriter/mentor. She could get sponsors by advertising it on her books, features and tell/write stories. That's the only way she could help. She also hold piano concerts for the sponsors. But still... it wasn't enough. And will never be.
The next day...

Sabina looked at the stage, worried.

Berwald looked at Halldora, who was looking at the stage, in fear.

Charissa started praying- it's the only thing she could do. She closed her eyes and was praying the rosary until the first female tribute's name was announced.

"Halldora Bondevik!" The announcer said.

Halldora walked up to the stage, outside cool, but inside, her stomach was filled with butterflies and fear.

Charissa still didn't open her eyes. She prefer to see the tributes at the train going to Capitol. So, she waited. And, alas, the male tribute's name was announced.

"Berwald Oxenstierena!" The woman said.

Berwald stepped onto the stage, several people looking at him, and murmuring that he would probably be a survivor in the games.

Sabina glared at the woman, and then stood up, and hollered at the top of her lungs:

"HEY, HOW BOUT YOU GO DUMP YOUR HEAD IN A VAT OF COLD ICE WATER?!" She yelled.

The announcer glared at Sabina.
"How about YOU just keep quiet and let the district 4 tributes say their final goodbyes? Besides," she smirked and continued," You're not a District 4 citizen. I'm pretty sure District 13 won't be too enthusiastic about this."

"Well, you're just a stupid lady who's skin is magenta pink, and hate's the rebellion for overthrowing your old capitol." Sabina said, smirking as some District 4 people began laughing, and more fell out of their seats, laughing hard.

Halldora and Berwald gave light smiles to Sabina, who smiled back, and mouthed:

'Just say the goodbyes, and I'll show the lady who's boss.' and both teens smiled. Halldora snatched the microphone, and said:

"I will miss my mother, father and Emil most especially. I will survive, not matter what." She said.

The announcer stomped off.
((Sabine, the goodbyes are held in the Justice Building together with their loved ones. They'll be given by 10 minutes before the tributes will board the train!))

((Oh... Sorry! Just that even sometimes after I read the book, I forget... D;))

In the justice building, Halldora and Berwald sat patiently, looking at ther parents, ad saying goodbyes while crying.

"Must be off now, Char. District 13 reaping. Bye!" Sabina said, hoping onto a 30 minute train ride to district 13.

"Bye! Thanks for visiting me! See you in the Capitol!" Charissa waved goodbye.

"See you at the capitol, BFFE!!" Sabina said, and she stepped onto the train, and went off.

Halldora hugged her mum, crying, and her mum whispering Norwegian words of her.

Berwald had a few tears stream down his cheeks, and his father told him comforting words.

Charissa couldn't bear the sight anymore. She was about to stand up and go away wheb her phone rang. She answered it and it was the president of the Capitol. She felt glad about what the president told her. After the call, she directly went to her next destination- the train station going to the Capitol.

Halldora and Berwald went onto the train, waving goodbye, and the train left.

((I'll make a topic called 'District 4 train ride' where everyone from District 4 will RP. This'll happen during the train ride to Capitol. I'll do the same thing on District 9.))
