I don't get why they had to make the series so different from the books. I mean Elena (view spoiler)[had a little sister not a brother, not that I mind Steven R. McQueen. Also Caroline died in the books right (hide spoiler)]?

I do too but I just wonder why they couldn't stick to the books since that's what they're based on.

Maybe they thought this would go on better on tv? I don't know.
Steven is lickable.

That's what I figured, they make it extra trashy to me instead of sticking with the story and less on the romance with this series. Steven is hot and that's probably why they wanted him on their so that you could want to lick him. ;D

I miss these books, i haven't had time to re-read them. The show's been too annoying and complicated, i need my simple TVD fix.

I thought (view spoiler)[Caroline died in one of the books. Damon couldn't get to her to save her from Klaus (hide spoiler)]. But she was back in another book wasn't she? :( I'm confused. :P

Hmm.. did that happen in The Return series? because that never happened in The original 4 books.

Maybe it was, I never did finish anything after the first four books. I'm planning on finishing someday.

I thought so. there's too much inconsistencies in that trilogy.

Why do I not want to read these books?

Because you'll want to strangle Elena all the time.

Like Zoey, Rose, Luce and Ever? Is that possible?

And Katniss when she's playing Peeta. It's possible that she's the worst of all almost. I'd say she's in the middle, between Rose and Luce.

I haven't even read the latest one, I will eventually just to rant about it. Not buying it though!

I prefer watching the TV show than read the book..dragging too much

I love both the books and the tv series. They're both good in their own way and its like having two versions of the vampire diaries. I love Damon the best in the books. In the show Damon and Stefan are both hot but the guy who stole my heart is Klaus. He is smoking hot, funny in a mean way and oh that smile!

There should be a thread in the Boyfriends folder just for Klaus from the T.V. show!
