No, I was born a Muslim, and I dont know anyone that converted to islam

I've only read about Sahabi who converted to Islam at, like, ages of 6, 11, or some other young age like that.

one of my classmates (we go to a muslim school) doesn't understand why all of a convert's bad deeds get erased when they convert, while a born muslim's bad deeds count. She doesn't think it's 'fair' OOO::: and she says that because (i think) she thinks born muslims are more religious???
i've tried to explain why their bad deeds get erased and the born muslims' ones dont, I've thought this was a fairly easy concept to understand, and i tried to show her my learning, but she still. doesn't. get. it.

of course my friends didn't help. *pointed glare*

Their sins get erased is becuz its hard to leave ur religion and accept another, and becuz they chose the right path Masha Allah!

My teachers Sister converted and she is the MOST religious and committed Muslim I've met

I think that most people who convert become more religious than those who are born Muslims.

Hey. I just wanted to add that I have a friend who is a convert. He converted to Islam because he always hung out with Muslims, got interested, and converted. Plus, his parents are still Christians. I wonder how they feel about it?

I grew up with a lot of converts and people who we're born into Islam. It's really nice when u meet someone who recently converted because idk it's a beautiful feeling.

Nine years old? Wow! By the way, it's "I converted to Islam," not, "I converted to Muslim." Islam is the religion, Muslims are the people.

I know a few of my uncle's friends who converted:)

Ive been seeing more and more Muslim converts at the mosque lately. it is very inspirational to see them coming in almost every Friday and asking questions and wanting to learn and be a better Muslim

May Allah bless you, too! I got in touch with Islam through a Muslim I talked to while I was travelling. That conversation inspired me to learn more and after a while I found myself being Muslim :)

alhamduliallah I know many reverts, personally i think they are a source inspiration as they have a mega thirst for knowledge and they keep me on the seen :)

I've been a convert/revert for 6 years now?... I think it's 6. To be honest I don't really keep track. It;s not important to me how long I've been Muslim it's only important that I remain a Muslim Insha'Allah. May Allah keep us all in strong Iman and bless us with knowledge and faith and this deen. Masha'Allah and congrats to all the new or newer converts.
