Appearance: I'll roleplay that out. I tend to make it awesome in writing.
Personality: This as well. Heh.
Background: His country was falling apart. He was the heir to the throne, but his only chances of surviving the war that was going on was to ship him out to neutralized grounds called the Royal Academy. There he would reside, pretending he was an heir in training, while his army fought off the invaders and his parents were sure there were no lingering assassins. He hates the place, though.
Kingdom: Nethatar, a rich northern kingdom with light soils and known for their barely and wheat exports.
Skills: Fencing and leadership. He served by his father's side in the many military strategies their kingdom took up for defense against the enemy.
Kin: He had a sister princess back at home, awaiting to be imported to the academy soon. She was too clingy to leave, but then an assassin tried to kill her as well. Raymir will meet her soon.
Relationships: His parents had betrothed Raymir to the Princess Myrcella of Bornshire, but refused to marry her. Her father king declared war on Nethatar after his refusal pressed the last button. Other surrounding countries worry about where this war will take them.

Kingdom: Bornshire, a country known for their mining and oar exports. They reside on the north eastern shore of the continent and are friends with many other countries but Nethatar, who has been reported within Bornshire to have sabotaged importation and other small details.
Background: Myrcella was to be wed to Raymir, and she was so deeply in love with him that it broke her heart to know Raymir didn't want her. It made her extremely angry, in fact. She was part of the reason her father finally decided war was the best option, but her father didn't want her to be in harm's way, so he sent her to the neutral Royal Academy as well. There, she settled happily, hoping to not see Raymir, until he came strolling in to town. Now she wants her own sweet revenge on him through words rather than violence.
Skills: Medicine. She learns with the healers all sorts of techniques, and she enjoys it.
Kin: Her older two brothers, one destined to be king of Bornshire, the other a high ranking general in their army and next in line. She doesn't much care for them, since she was completely ignored.
Relationships: Just the whole betrothal mess.

Background: She was offered a job to work at the Royal Academy, so she took it because of it's good pay. She was to stay in the shadows, out of the way from the Royalty. She learned how to be sneaky. Then one day, she was given a specific offer from two different kings to do two different jobs. She was referred to by her trusting friend, but he didn't realize what he was getting her into. Now she has two jobs to carry out for huge sums of gold, but she has no idea if she can do it or not.
Kingdom: She was originally from a country called Yeom, but it's terribly small and the royalty there aren't huge assets to the political turmoil going on.
Skills: Cooking, cleaning, really just her jobs she's required to do at the Academy. She does love to sword fight with her brothers at home.
Kin: Two brothers, three younger sisters. Nothing much to talk of.
Relationships: She never really had time or want to have anything.

Personality: Shy but will occassionally make witty, facetious remarks.
Background: Her country is engaged in war with Nethatar she was sent to the Academy to survive the deadly war. Her father was power hungry and wanted to control all the realm. She's bethrothed to the prince of a nearby country, Perderia; however, she despises him.
Kingdom: A rich growing empire, Acenueka.
Skills: Ballroom, music, secretly fighting.

Appearance: Long black hair that's always down, very light blue eyes, fair skin.
Personality: Very adventurous, loves nature, makes connections to things,(like a person getting murder, when, where, why, and how), talks only when needed, very good listener. Finally, she will never talk about her past unless it's a person she dearly trusts.
Background: Her parents died after sending her to the Royal Academy. They were killed by two knights from the Nethatar Kingdom. Her parents promised her to send something every week, but nothing arrived.
Kingdom: Forested kingdom, Terrica Kingdom.
Skills: She knows pressure points, she can fight, also great at needles a thread.
Kin: Parents are deceased, no siblings, all alone.
Relationships: Only one person, her best friend Maricelina Shenid.

Background: Her dad sent her, so he could have more time concentrating on his work. He wanted her to be happy as well, she wasn't going to be at a boring church.
Kingdom: Terrica Kingdom
Skills: Ballroom, needles, fighting, some may say leadership.
Kin: Her dad Priest Shenid, mom died while giving birth, has older brother that is off in war.

I'll make some guys, but I'm still deciding on whether to join this or not. I've been getting into roleplaying again, mainly to practice my writing skills, and I feel like this would be a good start.This is set in the actual time period, right? Like past the term "modern" (1500-1900)?

Personality: This will be roleplayed out. You shall love it.
Background: Zepheniah was called on by the Queen of her kingdom. They had once had a daughter, but she had died of an illness. The kingdom had loved the small child, and they couldn't bare thinking of their loss. Since no one had actually seen the girl since her birth, they decided to replace her. Zepheniah was chosen covertly to be the girl, and as luck would have it, no one but the king and queen had known the girl's name.
Kingdom: Devian. The kingdom is small and obscure to the other kingdoms, but they still fear an invasion of the larger forces. They try to make as many treaties as they possibly can. They are, however, fortunate enough to be blessed with magnificent artisans.
Skills: Horse riding and archery. She doesn't practice often, though. And she's very skilled in the visual arts.
Kin: Besides her false parents, she has a father and ten siblings that evenly divided in gender. She's the eldest of the bunch.
Relationships: She has had none, though she once fancied a butcher's boy.
Other: She prefers the nickname Zephe over her full name.

Kin: It's just him and his aging mother, who was permitted to bring with him because she was also given a job.

Background: There isn't much to say. He was a peasant in Loras, but ended up going to the Royal Academy with a job offer. There he began to teach Military strategies for three years, and now he added Fencing and sword techniques to his curriculum. He has a bad reputation for enjoying his female students' company.
Kingdom: Loras
Skills: Blacksmithing, sword skills, and cooking.
Kin: A family back home, but none of them followed him there.
Relationships: Several in the past. He's on good terms with the headmaster, even after his scary encounters with his students.
