Lucas all the way

Since i like both choices I would like to say that both. A relationship with all three develops after each of the guys takes a turn at dating Kylie. But that most likely wont happen wrong genre and all. So I believe another love interest will develop with a wholly new person, possibly a vampire.

I'm in Team Lucas :) First, I really liked Derek, too. But after a while he was just getting on my nerves...

To all of the Lucas supporters I will just say wait until everything comes out!

Throughout this book, i kept trying to make up my mind about who i wanted Kylie to be with, but i'm still debating!! Right now, my mind is leaning towards Derek, but Lucus was so sweet and romantic at times, I can't help but want her to be with him. However, there is the whole werewolf thing and his pack not wanting Lucus to be with Kylie to think about. And Derek did just confess his love for her, which i thought was sweet and a bold thing to do. So until i buy the next book at booksamillion, I'm rooting for Derek!

This is actually one of the few series where like both of the love interests equally for the most part. I like that with Lucas there's a lot of challenges and obstacles that he and Kylie need to overcome in order for them to be together. Typically, those are the kinds of romances I find the most interesting to read about.

But I also like Derek too. Realistically, he really would be the better choice for Kylie. He doesn't have people telling him he can't be with Kylie. He's also more understanding of Kylie's need to help spirits find peace. This is one of the things that actually really bugs me about Lucas. He's not very accepting of Kylie being a ghost whisperer. So Derek gets a couple extra points in my book because he chooses to be open-minded to things he may not understand when it's important to Kylie. That's something Lucas needs to work on. She can't stop helping spirits any more than Lucas can stop shifting into a werewolf during the full moon. It's an important part of her identity.

I guess at the moment it sounds like I'm leaning more towards Kylie picking Derek. But I'm open to her choosing either guy as long as I believe her reasons for her choice make sense.

I like Lucas but I think its funny how people say they think Lucas is HOTT when its a book...and he's not real other than in your imagination, but in mine, he is pretty hott! But I like how Lucas said he's wait for her till shes ready, and Derek annoys me sometimes how he just shut her out like that (which I didnt mind cuz I like Lucas) and how he can toy with her emmotions, he might say hes not doing it but he could be lying :S Itd be funny if he ended up working for Red, thatd be a big twist in this series! AND I WOULD LOOOOOOVE IT!

Okay in the beginning I thought that Derek was so much better, because he was so sweet and compassionate towards Kylie, and then in the last book Lucas was A-MA-ZING-LY sweet!! <3

Lucas :) he's loved her for years. I like Derek but I don't think he's right for Kylie.

I still don´t know which one I prefer. In the first two books, I was team Lucas, but in Taken at dusk, some of my opinions changed, specially at the end...

Whenever she's with Derek i miss Lucas but whenever she's with Lucas i miss Derek so... i don't know

At the second book I was rooting for Lucas but in the 3rd book there's just so many complication between him and Kaylen. For example with the his pack, his grand mother and I think that Lucas doesn't understood Kaylen much with her powers (like ghost whispering) and he keep rooting that she would turn out as a were, can't he just accept Kaylen whole-heartedly? And much for Francheska he does know that she is being a bitch to Kaylen and at the time when he went to his father to fetch his sister he didn't even call Kaylen he chose Francheska over her. And he have a reason for that because he's sister is friend with Francheska blah blah but can't he spare some of his time for Kaylen? Even a text message or one call? No. He didn't even call at her even once.

So now I'm rooting for Derek because he really loves Kaylen, he understands her. And he is still there as a friend for kaylen. So Derek !!!

Derek. he doesnt seem as conplated as Lucas does. and kYLAN needs non-complated right now.

Lucas all the way. Lucas has been, more or less, in love with Kylie for years. And now, he finally has his chance with her. Besides, what's not to love about Lucas? Sure he may be a little "possessive" but that's just who he is. Derek makes everything seem like a fairy tale and I don't see anyone complaining about that.

Anyway, I'm still not over the fact that Derek left Kylie and had sex with his ex even though he claims to love Kylie, I get that they weren't together but really.

Not to mention, Kylie's attraction to Derek started because he looked like her ex. Idk, my ships usually sink in the end but I'm hoping this one doesn't.

I HOPE she falls for Derek in the end.
Lucas to me is to controlling and annoying. Like, Derek is true, and he accepts Kylie for who she is. He doesn't care whether she's a fairy. Lucas on the other hand, wants Kylie to be a were. And I have a feeling that will ruin there relationship in some way..

LUCAS! I swear I am not shallow but he is so fucking HAWWWT.
And they share a history together, and a lot more spark, it's electrifying!

Ok i just don't like Derek. i'm sorry but i just like Lucas better. I would pick Lucas in a heartbeat! Derek had said i love you to Kaylie but had sex with a girl when he went away. Kaylie still loved him. Lucas had sex before he got together with Kaylie.
DEREK or LUCAS. Lucas for me. with my disorder all i can do is sit around and read and write. i get really bord sometime's. Yeah im thirteen. I first found out when i was seven. I read born at midnight and the other two book's in two day's. i got to get off now bye!!!

I really Derek but in the end I think she will be with Lucus because it makes for a better story.

I am team Derek, and I don't think a lot of people give him enough credit. So Kylie and Lucas has a past together, they were kids and in TAD Lucas doesn't like that Kylie speaks and helps ghost and that is clearly what she is, so how is that accepting of who she is and Derek understands that part of her. Lucas really wants her to be a were, and she doesn't. Derek has never focused on her being one thing or another he just liked her for her. Sure Derek can manipulate her emotions, but hasn't. We found out that Lucas can do some manipulting of his own. So they're even on that point. Derek was with Ellie, but he wasn't with Kylie at the time, and Lucas was with Fredericka so Lucas isn't all perfect either. Ellie became Kylie's friend, and Fredericka is a witch to her. I'm done Team Derek all the way.

Lucas defintly! They had a history and what not even if it wasn't a good one. Go to cchunterbooks.com and go to special contact. Ther you'll see both of their point of views and how Lucas felt both scared and possesive with Kylie but Derek said and I qoute "curves in al the right places". Sure maybe his thought have changed about Kylie and he truly loves her but he may just love her for her body, but that may be too big of an assumption. Lastly I feel a connection for Lucas that just isn't there for Derek but I still like him as a character and have tiny hopes he likes Kylies ex-bestfriend and changes her for the better.

I was team derek before.. but at Taken at Dusk I didn't appreciate his actions. I don't know, I feel like the author forced us to root for Lucas...

I was hoping for Lucas since the first book. But maybe its just my love for bad boys that is clouding my judgement

It better be Lucas! They just have a certain chemistry together and I feel like he understands her better. I wouldn't want a boyfriend that can feel eveything I feel..it's just weird.

I'm hoping she picks Lucas HE'S SO HOT!!! and they have a past together :). it makes more sense for her to be with Lucas who has a reason to love her but with Derek he just met her so I find it kinda creepy that he loves her already -_-. not to mention he's boring and perfect. plus why would you want someone who can read your emotions and control them. that would be a major turn off cause who wants to question if what they feel is real or not.
