The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
ahh lucky, that sounds awesome! isn't Ollivanders in Diagon Alley though? Hopefully i can go someday. and try butterbeer. and some bookstores sell chocolate frogs for a lot cheaper than that. i got some from Borders before it closed, and they were $3. they might have them at Barnes & Noble if you want to try them.
Oh someone that went said the Hungarian Horntail ride is really scary anyway. like a little too scary. so you didn't miss out on much.

Thank you so much for the wand and I really want to try butterbeer. What happened on the Flight of The Hippogriff?

Wow Arti, that sounds really exiting! That's kind of annoying though, that everything was that expensive... they think that no matter the price, people will buy Hary Potter stuff. Very sorry J.K Rowling and Wizarding World, but I'm not willing to be homeless just so I can taste your Chocolate Frogs.. (;

I know right! I hate, really hate how everything is so expensive! Would it really kill them to make a few things cheaper?

Well, butterbeer is kinda like a root beer float, KINDA. But then there's something different.

they say its warm in the books...it always warms them up when they go to hogsmeade. it usually mentions that with Harry at least.

You're right nikos it's always wam in the books, but who wants a warm drink when it's 80 degrees and sun is blasting out? That's what florida is like most of the timee so they made it cold for a reason - a reason that's called "people will buy more if it's cold" or otherwise "marketing" or "making more appealing to the human race" (;

ah right, forgot about that. here in MN its cold about 70% of the year. so we always have warm drinks. but i would hate having to drink something warm at 80 degrees.

yup, I have a keen sense for stuff like that, marketing, advertising, telecasting, and an I'm awesome at exxagerating (;
yeah it was burning in FL, and butterbeer did feel REALLY good after touring everywhere in Hogwarts
I got my friend a Harry Potter cook book for her birthday and they had the recipe for butterbeer in the book. We made it and drank it! It was soooooo delicious!!=]
i've made butterbeer a couple times! i love it. but with the portions my recipe gave me it was more of a soup...it filled a whole bowl.
I made it and I failed. I have no cooking skills DownWith Jem can't fallow instructions
And Jacelover..........just laughed at our failure
ah true! why didn't i think of that...? thanks! i'll try it next time.
:) I might be going to florida next year. And my parents said we probably won't go to universal and see the Harry Potter worl place thing. :(
I LOVE AVPM AND AVPS!!!! "You can't go to pigfarts, ITS ON MARS!" I have a bunch of quotes on my door.
the threequel is coming out sometime this year! i cant wait!
Also is anyone else excited for Holy Musical B@man, their batman parody?
And if anyone lives in a big city in the US, theyre going on a tour this year too.

I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in December for Schoolies with a friend, and absolutely loved it. we went on every ride heaps of times, and the lines were long for us. I didn't mind waiting for an hour and a half for the Forbidden Journey ride, since we were walking through the castle, it made it so much better. The Chcoolate frogs were $10 when I went there, and I didn't think the merchandise was overly expensive. That was over four months ago, so maybe they've raised the prices.I bought a lot of stuff on my holiday, like so much stuff I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get it back to Australia. Definitely going back there one day :)
WOW. they definatly changed it cause when I went there everything was TOO expensive. but still worth it and a lot of fun
really. I've always wanted to go there. My cousin went there and brought back a bunch of stuff for me
I went to and I thought it was fantastic!!! I was lucky enough to get picked in ollivanders and it was the COOLEST thing I have ever DONE!!!!!! My wand is vine, unicorn hair, 11 and a half inches. :)

The souvenirs were really expensive so I just got pictures. In Hogsmeade, they had The Three Broomsticks, Olivanders, Honeydukes, Zonkos, The robe shop, and the quill, book, parchment store which you couldnt go inside cause it was for show. I bought Hermione's wand for myself, Ginny's for my cousin, and Voldemort's for my friend.
I did try butterbeer, and it was so YUMMY!!!!!! I loved it. I got the frozen kind in a souvenir mug. From Zonkos, I bought Pepper Imps, which is basically cinnamon hard candy. The chocolate frogs were 20$ each, way too expansive. I didn't buy anything from Zonkos, but they had Extendable Ears, trick combs, and tons of stuff.
The Three Brooksticks was a restaurant with a long line. Actually, everything had a long line...but totally worth it. I didn't go the Hungarian Horntail ride, but the Flight of the Hippogriff was nice. No famous people, but I still had a lot of fun!
:)
