"Last Call" is the nonfiction choice for the Dedham Reads Together 2012 event. It's loaded with details on how the Anti-Saloon League managed to get Prohibition passed by 1920, and why the ASL was so motivated. Aside from Al Capone, I really wasn't familiar with this part of history before, and I found it interesting.
I read this in hard copy first, and then a second time on my Kindle as part of the Dedham Reads Together program. Reading it on the Kindle allowed me to really focus on each page, and the reading seemed "lighter" to me for some reason.
