I love Little Women. I know it isn't just a Christmas book book but Christmas plays such a wonderful role reminding everyone about how much we do have!
I don't know about a favorite Christmas book, but I just read "A Redbird Christmas" by Fannie Flagg (the same lady who wrote 'Fried Green Tomatoes'). It was pretty good- short, sweet, and an all over feel-good book. It's a sweet story about how you can find love and goodness in just about anyone and anywhere.
Now that the holidays are over and I have a moment to reflect.....:)
We bought our daughter 'Flight of the Reindeer' this season. It has accounts from Sir Edmund Hillary, Will Steger, and George Bush plus plausible evidence that reindeer do fly and Santa is real. Perfect for that age when they are starting to question. Beautiful and not at all cheesy.
