Do you ever find your writing to be influenced by your emotional state? For example, do you find your writing to be more witty or blunt if you're in a bad mood or maybe more humorous if in a really good mood?

Absolutely. And since I tend to write humorous stories, even if they are dark humor, I find it difficult to write at all if I'm in a bad mood or not quite feeling the happy vibe. I'm not like a painter who can paint his or her mood or a poet who can emote their feelings into verse. I prefer my muse to find her happy place before she taps me on the shoulder.
