Any particular family's home? The photo is not mine, but this is identical to the coffee mug I use in the morning.
My family's home.
I've discovered that there is a perfect coffee mug: perfect ratio of height to width, perfect thickness of ceramic, perfect size and shape of handle. Once you've held it in your hand and sipped from it, every other mug feels inadequate. (The Yale mug is not perfect...somehow, it feels too dense.)

I agree. The Grant Wood mug seems perfect to me for coffee. I have a slightly larger mug that I prefer for tea, as I usually make tea one mug at a time rather than preparing a full pot, so a bigger mug works a bit better.
I agree. I usually drink tea to warm up, and the bigger the mug the more I can warm up.
I'm also bothered by mugs with angled sides, like

Of course it is! :) (now where can I get one?)
My mug is plain, black and boring :( I used to have a wicked witch of the west mug but somebody chipped it.
Since reading the tea thread here, I'm a convert. This is the ceramic mug in which I brew Darjeeling tea. Good alternative to a teapot.[image error]
I don't have a mug. I was going to post a picture of my face, but LG was quite specific about what she wants.

Unless mug shots are not your cup of tea?
:-)
This is mine
I also have two with pictures of my kids :-)

Both of my favorite mugs are Nightmare Before Christmas mugs, too. I can't find any pictures of them though. I'll have to try and take one with my husband's phone later today.
This is why Dave & Buster's is and will always be way cooler than Chuck E. Cheese:
Best coffee mug ever. It's HUGE & not too heavy.
I generally use one of my kogimugs. I am too lazy to look for separate pictures, but here is a pic of most of them:
The one I'm using today is on the top far right of the bottom shelf, the grey one with pink flowers.

Barb, yes. :D
evie, those are my first two dogs, Stormy and Beau. Kogi also did mugs for each dog and their urns when the sad days came.
Awww, thanks guys! I also make insanely huge mugs so be careful or a pot of coffee may fit in them. I'm also kinda slow right now due to the MS but I do still do them.

I'm very impressed, ma'am.

You are very talented.
Those are great mugs, jammies! And Kogi, seeing as your very talented hands made them. I always wanted to throw pottery, but didn't have the time to use the studio when I was in the class, so I stuck to hand building some very ugly jugs.

I just wish I could find pix of my mugs online. I can't find any of them. I hate depriving onlookers of the beauty of my mugs.
The placemat is my favorite part of that picture. Always a good reminder as you are waking up to your coffee (And nice size on the mug as well. )
Oh that could be...of course it's always good to have reminders placed around the home, yes? *giggles*
